Who: Kara & Friends (and future friends)
Broadcast: video / fleetwide
Action: The Tourist, kitchen or Kara's room
When: now!
[ In her broadcast, Kara is in her PJs, hair down and glasses off. She looks like she just woke up not too long ago and the overall vibe is very "confessional vlog". She doesn't seem distressed, just a little confused, and tired—though her eternal optimism is always there somewhere. ]
Hey, so, question: On a scale from "wow that's super weird we've never heard of something like that" to "it must be a Wednesday on the Fleet", how common is it to just like, get a bunch of "new" information from home? Which, now that I think about it, is kind of a dumb thing to ask because we have implants that give us job skills training. But I'm just wondering. Uh, in the abstract? Something like that.
Anyway, I'm going to go get some coffee and food because I'm starving. Who knew that sleeping was such hard work?

[ pointing ]
you should. we'll talk near the engine room where no one can hear us. no one can hear us.
[ super important ]
> action
[ and she is. and she waits by the engine room even tho that seems silly ]
action
hi -
[ ok, noisy enough so they won't be overheard ]
ok. from the top. how on earth do you know Barry? how did he end up on your world? was he able to go back? did he wreck the suit? please tell me the suit is fine.
no subject
The suit is fine, he didn't wreck it. We got him back, but how will be clearer later. It's my understanding he got to my world by running really, really fast, and he caught me when I fell out of a building, which I totally didn't need help with that, by the way.
no subject
[ super proudly. his baby is ok :') oh and barry, that's important too. ]
barry got fast enough to run through the multiverse? that's amaaazing!
[ way to go buddy, team flash forever! ]
wait. how come you didn't need help with that?
[ ....and then he gasps and takes a few steps back ]
oh my god, dios mio. you're a meta-human! seriously? oh my god.
no subject
Are you ready for this?
I'm an alien.
[ she's having... so much fun with this... SO MUCH FUN. Cisco is so fun. ]
no subject
[ well if barry helped her she must be. he points and hops in place ]
with human appearance but superhuman abilities! and you work as an assistant? dude! that's so cool.
[ :D :D ]
ok we are taking a picture together somehow, I don't care. so wait - Kara - what do they call you?
no subject
In uniform, my name is Supergirl.
no subject
[ he might be doing a tiny victory dance ]
I love it. I approve. it's catchy and it's, well. super.
[ ahhahaha ]
you have a suit! can I see it? what is made of? you're treating it right? always treat a suit right.
no subject
[ it's so impossible for her to feel bad about literally anything right now. his enthusiasm is contagious ]
My boss came up with the name, actually. And the uniform didn't make it here with me, unfortunately. Winn made it, though. And the cape is made out of my cousin's baby blanket, so it's pretty destruction-proof.

[ hand to heart ]
I knew he was too cool for this world. he's - team supergirl. actually he's the me of team Supergirl.
no subject
I can't believe you're the Cisco. What are the odds?
no subject
[ :D ]
ok, I gotta ask. what can you do? I have to see this.
no subject
[ aaaand she's hovering off the ground ]
no subject
you fly. that's.
[ gesturing towards her, actually speechless ]
oh man. this is so cool. Can I -
[ oh whatever, he'll be manly and impressive some other time ]
if I hold your hand, can you - you know.
[ he wants to fly too ;; ]
no subject
[ and if he'll let her, she'll lift him with an arm around his chest ]
no subject
[ he'll definitely be looking down and ok this might not be the peak of his manliness but it's definitely the coolest thing that happened to him here. ]
...can we stay here for a moment so I can actually believe myself later on that this is actually happening?

I also have super cold breath and heat... beams? That I shoot out of my eyes but something tells me that showing you that in a closed loop environment in the middle of space would be a bad idea.
I'm pretty indestructible, too. Bullet proof, for the most part. And I was able to keep up with your friend when I was flying.

[ firm nod ]
isn't he awesome?

[ smiling and looking down ]
this will never not be amazing.

[ and as his feet touch the ground: ]
two things - we need to try and get you another suit and also - what happened? I mean to you strength and how do we get you back to being - you know. super.

And I'm kind of... the best way to describe it is that I'm like solar panels. I need some good yellow sun to get my power, but we're pretty far away from this system's star.
