[ In her broadcast, Kara is in her PJs, hair down and glasses off. She looks like she just woke up not too long ago and the overall vibe is very "confessional vlog". She doesn't seem distressed, just a little confused, and tired—though her eternal optimism is always there somewhere. ]

Hey, so, question: On a scale from "wow that's super weird we've never heard of something like that" to "it must be a Wednesday on the Fleet", how common is it to just like, get a bunch of "new" information from home? Which, now that I think about it, is kind of a dumb thing to ask because we have implants that give us job skills training. But I'm just wondering. Uh, in the abstract? Something like that.

Anyway, I'm going to go get some coffee and food because I'm starving. Who knew that sleeping was such hard work?

I don't know . . . I mean, sometimes that's exactly what people need - someone who'll listen, or - someone they know will be there for them when they need it. Not everyone can do that.

Yeah, I know. Making sugar from scratch isn't working, so I'm going to give something else a shot. I will make it happen, though.

Mm, I know you do. If anything, none of us will give up on trying. [it's one of the strongest impressions he's got from both of them]

I'd say I don't want to think about it, but I'd imagine that's the whole point of this.

Heh. I just hope it's made up of things I recognize and not - some weird futuristic space ingredient.

You know, on Krypton we had an entirely different system of physics. I can't really remember much of it but it made a lot more sense then Newtonian laws of gravity.
