[Cheese appears on the screen with a wide grin and a wave of his hoof.]

Hey everypony!! Today is a super duper awesome day! It's Pinkie Pie's birthday! I know she's pretty new to the Fleet and all, but I've thrown her a little shindig and I'm sure she'd love as many of you lovely folks if you could show up. She will for sure pay it back in kind when your celebrations come up. I mean, if you think I'm a good party planner, you wait til you see her.

So yeah! If you wanna come celebrate her birthday, come on down to the Iskaulit. I'm gonna be bringing her over at about seven. It's gonna be a surprise!!

[Action: Iskaulit]

[And those coming aboard the Iskaulit will find glitterly arrows stuck to the walls, leading them to the room where Cheese has set up the "little shindig". There are balloons and streamers everywhere, bunting and banners hangs from the ceiling - all bearing the face of the aforementioned pink pony. Food tables stand to one side, filled with delicious (but vegetarian) dishes, while another table holds more deserts and treats than you could ever imagine. The center-piece is a birthday cake which seems to be in the shape of an aligator. But Cheese isn't actually that great at the culinary arts despite his name, so it's kind of hard to tell.

Regardless, it's clear a lot of effort has gone into this, and the theme PINKIE IS GREAT is perhaps a little too obvious. But this is what happens when you put others on pedestals. Time to party like they're not on a bunch of spaceships trapped in a reality TV show for the rest of time. Woooo!]

[The pony blinks and starts looking around in darts before flashing Haruka a sincere smile.]

You're friends from home? [ A nod at Cheese, though....well. Certain evidence indicates as much. ]

Yeah, we are! We only met face-to-face once and it's been a while since I saw him at home but we're REALLY great friends and I'm glad he's here!

He's a good [ Person? Can she still say "person"? Her dignity won't let her say "pony"... ] friend.

[ Her attention returns to Pinkie after nodding at the party decorations to indicate Cheese's good-friend-ness. ] We'll be seeing you on the Bishop sometimes, then.

[Dignity is an illusion, give in to the pony love.]

Oh, so you're on the Bishop too?! Sweet, what's your ship like? And heck yes you'll be seeing me, especially if we're going to be throwing parties for you guys!

Then it'll be getting even livelier. [ It's already fairly lively, sometimes. Most of the time, though, Haruka tends to keep to herself. Or to her partner's counselor's office. So she might not be the best audience... ]

Engineering! It's WAY different than just inventing stuff at home, though!

Well, if there's a whole pony society, presumably they've gotten this all figured out. None of Haruka's business. Yes. ]

[Unicorns have telekinesis, but as for hooves? It is a mystery.]

Oh, I'm not a scientist! I'm a party pony like Cheese! But I DO make some like my party cannon or that one flying bike once! Not ALL the time, but I guess enough to be a space engineer!

[ ....Haruka doesn't have the heart to tell her about the augment. Not at her birthday party. She may be a cold Soldier of the Outer Solar System, but there are some things one doesn't tell a pink party pony unless necessary. ] Hopefully things won't be breaking down too much. We've got other things to do.

[Oh don't worry; Tyrion already broke the "chip stuck in your brain" thing to her the first day. Amazing what warm, supportive old and new friends and a nap can help a pony cope with.]
