[Leliana has been here a month, quietly lurking between her assigned ship, the SS Heron, and visiting with various friends that have been spread apart. Mostly she stays in contact with Riona and visits Varric's bar on the Iskaulit to people watch. It was where she could be found right now, watching people filter by her as she stood outside of one of the shops, leaning against a wall. She was more receptive about addressing the network as a whole, now that she's settled in a bit. It had been at least a month since her arrival.]

I am Sister Nightingale, for those who do not know me. Where I am from, I am a Sister of the Chantry, an organization that houses those who worship the Maker. I have not found a chapel or other house of worship among the establishments of the Iskaulit, but I am still hopeful. If anyone knows of whom I could speak to about it, I would be most appreciative. I may be separated from my home but that does not mean the Maker has left my side, no? For any of us, faith can be important whether we practice it or not. Should anyone need my services otherwise, please do not hesitate to seek me out. I reside aboard the SS Heron among the crew there.

[A contemplative silence follows as she thinks of what else she could ask about.]

There is also a library here, no? I would very much like to discover what stories Atroma and the people who watch us for their entertainment might have to share with me. I love books and I find myself in need of something to occupy my time with. Should I find the library and anyone wishes to seek me out, they can also find me there.

The only 'meditation' I've seen anyone seek out is Varric's bar. It would be nice to make myself useful in other ways besides my assigned post.

[Misty bows her head respectfully. She may not be Catholic... or whatever version of Catholic this might be, but she respects nuns and monks and the like all the same. She admires their dedication.]

It's not a chapel exactly in the sense that you're probably thinkin', but we have an Interfaith center on the Iskaulit, where anyone can come worship. Stefan runs it usually... he's... asleep right now though, so I've been takin' care of it for him. You're welcome to stop by if you wanna see? I'm there now.

Stefan - he is a clergyman? Are there other lay sisters about that you know of?

[Because honestly it would be nice to have the familiar hustle and bustle she'd had when she'd lived in the Chantry, before things had gone completely to shit back home with the Blight and then the Kirkwall Rebellion and the Rift in the sky.

[In her wanderings around the Iskaulit, Leliana may come across an open door where music is blasting.]

[Inside there's a blue haired young woman bobbing her head along with it, as she tends to several tables of leafy green plants in various stages of growth. All the plants seem to be the same species, though half of them are hidden behind thick plastic sheeting to keep most of the light away from them.]

[Chloe will offer a wave if the older woman happens to look inside and get her attention.]

[Leliana stops to peek in, making a beeline for the plants. They looked real enough - though one could never tell in this place what was organic or synthetic unless it was the food.]

What? [Chloe reached out to flick the music off, and took a guess at what the woman had been asking by her actions and face.]

Oh yeah, these're just mine. There's a bigger garden down the hallway with like, lots of other stuff. Alien vegetables and shit like that.

More practical stuff than my little project.

The Maker? The Maker of what? Magical items?

[The... perhaps worst part is that he doesn't look like he's joking. He looks like he's seriously asking that question. You have your work cut out for you, Leliana.]

As others have said, there is a place of worship on the Iskaulit. From what I understand it is open for all faiths. I imagine you could pray there?

[He's still pretty new to this FAITH thing. It's a lot harder without Sebastian around being all evangelical about it. ]

The library is also on the Iskaulit, I believe.

Yes, I suppose that will do. It's nice to see that those in charge are so open minded to people of differing backgrounds. I wonder if I ask nicely they'll allow something to make it feel more at home, assuming they don't already have statues of Andraste and the like already there waiting.

[How convenient that would be, honestly. Not that she needs a statue for prayer but it would give it a more homey feel to have something familiar to latch on to. She doesn't expect to go there and find Chantry Sisters singing hymns, after all.]

What sort of services will you be offering? I've never met a Sister before, though I've always been interested in learning about faith.

I can only offer those who ask services of me some measure of peace, should they need it, or knowledge of the Maker should they wish to hear it. Sometimes a person seeking faith has questions that often times they can't find the answers to. Faith gives a person purpose. It's my job as a Sister of the Chantry to show them to that purpose.

If someone hasn't already told you, there's a library over on the Iskaulit. I think a guy named Felix runs it, and I'm not entirely sure on what sort of volumes are in there, but I think it's a pretty healthy collection at this point.

As for a chapel - I think you might need to make due with something private, but a sort of multi-religious area might not be a bad idea...

I don't mind sharing with others. We might worship in our own ways but the feelings behind it are generally the same, no? Somewhere with people in it is more than enough for me. Where I am from, the Chantry often is bustling with people in various chapels spread across Thedas. Some are Sisters and other Faithful like myself, others are often lost souls looking for a ready ear.

He doesn't begrudge them that, and has always believed in a person's right to practice their religion so long as it did not become a hinderance unto others. ]}

Then I think there could be a space made available, if one has not been made so already. I personally haven't much looked into it, so I can't say one way or the other. But if you need something built for it once you find out, I'd be willing to help.
