either. He wants this to be fun, after all, and he's half focused on the
conversation anyways. ]}

_{[ He made motions with his hands and a dreamy sigh. ]}

She sounds belle, mon ami, would love the chance to see her, if dimension jumpin' ever becomes available to the masses 'nd not just alien tv show producers. [Because the chance to be on the Enterprise would make teen Remy so jealous and a dream that was impossible in his universe to come true. Hell, the fact he was friends with James T. Kirk would be such a huge thing for teen!Remy also, even if it wasn't one he would recognize.]

Oh, she is. I might even let you touch once we get back to her ~

_{[ He winked at him as he moved his pieces, making one move in
particular and smiling brightly. ]}

Oooh, [That was let out in an exhale of a breath, playing up the whole idea behind it.] That be a mighty fine offer ya makin' there. [Before his tone turned a bit more distant as Remy focused on figuring out his next set of moves. He really was rusty at this. Knowing he could do much for his current move, Remy moved his piece to safety as his eyes scanned the rest of the boards to find a way to stop that on coming checkmate.]

Hmm, and not one I would make to just anyone. But I figure you would know how to handle her, how to touch her right...

_{[ He reached out and brushed his fingers along Remy's, smirking. It
could have very well been a come on or a distraction tactic - probably
both. Kirk moved his own piece, the confident, charming look remaining.

[And it might very well work, if Remy wasn't concentrating so hard to get his brain into this game. His eyes moved upwards at the stroke, focused on first Kirk's touch then his face for a long moment, before he let out a breath of a laugh and shook himself from getting dragged so into this all. Was suppose to be fun, not caught up in this all.] Aw, cher, ya just know how to give a person warm fuzzies with talk like that. Careful, ya might make me blush.

I think I've learned how to do that already, actually. I like it when you do the one that's this particular shade of pink...

_{[ He trailed off and grinned at him, leaning back in his chair as he
waited for Remy to complete his move. He was in no rush himself. ]}

I do all shades of pink well, they just normally part of m' clothin'. [Hey, magenta is a legitimate color choice for casual wear and for uniforms, just with the right mix of other colors. Moving his next piece Remy spotted what he hoped Kirk wouldn't, that it did put another piece of his in danger of being taken out, or maybe he was just living up to his codename and hoping it would be taken and give him an extra turn to move. Who knew?] Think goin' to have to do this again, I need the practice at it.

_{[ Hey, no judging here. Wear what colors you want, Remy - though he
liked your au natural colors the very best. The move takes him by surprise,
but he's actually rather delighted with it. He likes a challenge, after
all. He tries to keep that off his face though, considering his own move
now. ]}

Well if you're offering, I'm happy to oblige. We can even make it more exciting. Ever play strip tri-dimensional chess?

[Remy laughed before smiling widely over at Kirk.] Cher, if ya want me naked all ya gotta do is say, 'll take 'ny excuse to strip down a couple of layers.

Maybe sometimes I like working for it.

_{[ He smirked, making his move, though beneath the table he did run his
foot against Remy's calf, his eyes grazing up and down him with obvious
interest of the more carnal kind. He knew what lay beneath those layers,
and he liked what was there. ]}

What's the phrase? Money won is sweeter than money earned? Or I suppose in this case - you minus a few pieces of clothing.

[Oh look, he should had timed how long it took before Kirk had reached out like that, then again it would had stopped the clock at that earlier graze of his hand. Not that it would ever be a complaint from Remy, he was a very physical guy (in many ways) including general touch, whether with a loaded emotion behind it or just reaching out, it was an important part of his life ever since he had gotten his powers under control. He needed physical touch, it was just too embedded in his personality.]

Well ya ain't goin' to be workin' much for this game, but if that the case then I get to win 'gainst ya at strip poker.

_{[ Which suited Kirk just fine. He needed physically touch too, though
for different reasons. The physicality, the humanity, of someone else
reminded him that he was still human, that his fears of living a lie in
death were not true. Touch was extremely important to him, and he craved
it, took it whenever he could, though he hid the need behind teasing.
]}

'Get'? Who said anything about 'getting'? I'll make you work for every little scrap of cloth.

_{[ He smirked at him, his eyes sparking, promising very fun things if
they ever did play a game like that as he shifted his Bishop on the board.
]}

Ya can try. [A wide grin spreading across his face, normally not admitting out loud how good he was at poker as it made it easier to trick people into thinking he was just ok enough to win a hand or two; but he was, even if it was from his own creative way of handling cards.]

_{[ Kirk's eyes narrowed at that grin, having spent enough time around Remy by now to get the sense of when the other was holding something back. ]}

I would certainly like to give it a shot.

_{[ Oh look at that move, now he's one away from checkmate. ]}

[Oh, oops, guess he better pay attention to this game first, rather than boasting about another. Turning his eyes back to the board and realizing that yes, he was in trouble, Remy moved just enough to give him one more move, not much wiggle room but it delayed the inevitable.] Oooh, shots, shots would be good durin' a game. [Yes, he's intentionally taking that another way.]

_{[ He saw it for what it was, but didn't call him on, it merely moving
his piece into the final position. At this point, Remy was more or less
trapped on the board. He could delay, but Kirk would checkmate him quick
enough. ]}

So, we have to drink and we have to strip when we lose a hand?

Would certainly make the game more 'nterestin' 'nd easier as we went on. Think might 'ffect bluffin' a bit, non? [Yep, checkmate was clearly on it's way, and Remy gave one last attempt to hold off the inevitable.]

Maybe a little, but that makes it interesting. Who can keep it together the longest?

_{[ He smirked and moved his piece with a final, definite click. ]}

[Raising his hands, Remy quietly applauded Kirk's win,] Well done. [Before moving to reset the board to it's start position.] Two out of three?

_{[ He smiled broadly and nodded, helping him reset the board. ]}
