[ Ramse lifts his mask so it's resting on top of his head, glancing around the store. It's a random assortment of things, from antique looking furnishings to toiletries and weird appliances he can't identify just by looking... they might have something. He wanders the aisles, picking up knicknacks here and there, until he comes to a display of what looks like the colored pebbles people would put in planters. ]

What's that? You need a gun for glue?

It's just called that. It's kind of shaped like a gun, but it doesn't shoot anything. You load in solid sticks of glue and the tip heats up to melt the glue. Once it cools, it bonds.

So you can go sticking little rocks on things. Okay. [ He holds up a handful, wondering what she could possibly want to do with them. ] They've got some nice colors, I guess.

Mosaics come together, I promise. It might be a nice table surface. Jazz things up a bit.

He sews, but I craft. And mosaics can be abstract, too.

Like arts and crafts? Gluing pompoms onto things and adding glitter?

Oh, I remember that kinda thing from when I was a kid. Glitter gets everywhere.

It really does. I don't intend to introduce it to the atmosphere on the ships, but some hot glue and glass beads won't hurt anything.

It might be fun to decorate your place. The ships are sort of... sterile.

Exactly. They could use some sprucing up. Maybe if I had some string and colorful paper I could make decorations.

I bet we could find that much. A glue gun, maybe not.

I'd settle for a clear epoxy.

That's a kind of glue, right? It can't hurt to ask. Pick your colors and hopefully we'll find it -- if not i bet the engineers have something you could use.

It does but we can just use a piece of paper with the grid drawn on it. We should start small anyway, for you to learn on... nine by nine instead of nineteen.
