[ Sascha nods guiltily, fidgeting with his hands. Ramse hasn't even done anything and he finds himself getting excited and antsy at the same time. ]

My bite sometimes makes people sick t, too...

Then don't stress out over it. You can help me with this instead.

[ He holds up the kit, pulling what's now officially Sascha's thermos off the shelf and going to sit on the bed. ]

[pneumo]

[ he nods, but it's still an overly-eager and anxious gesture as he follows suit, sitting cross-legged behind him. ]

What do I do...?

[ He ties a band around his arm and passes Sascha the thermos, then unravels the tube into it and pumps his fist. ]

Hold this and when I tell you to, take the tourniquet off.

[pneumo]

O, okay. [ Don't stare at the vein on his arm don't stare at it, that's creepy right??

But god does he want to, he's really getting anticipatory now. ]

[ It would have been less creepy and easier if you'd just bitten him, but safety first, right?

Needle goes in. He holds it there and motions with his head to the band. ]

Okay, now.

[pneumo]

[ Safety first :c because as much as he'd love to have bitten someone, he also doesn't want Ramse to wind up the worse for it. He's never bitten anyone without them being in a bad way.

So he's determined to do this right, pulling the bit of plastic lose as he tries not to salivate. ]

[ The blood flows freely, then, through the tube and into Sascha's thermos. He knows the smell will probably drive puppypire crazy, so he keeps talking. ]

Okay, now pick up that gauze.

[pneumo]

[ it does to a degree, and the talking does help. It pulls Sascha's eyes away from the red flowing through the tube and back to other things, like what gauze is and why it's important. ]

--is that the white stuff?

[nostraightlines]

Yeah, it's the white square. You're going to press it to my arm so I can pull the needle out in a minute.

[ Not yet, though, it's not enough blood. They can talk about something else. ]

Who was the other blue person?

[pneumo]

Okay... [ Can he just press his face to the area instead? Because dang. ]

The other...? Oh! He was furry. And he gave me a steak... It was great.

[nostraightlines]

Somebody else is feeding you? Good.

[pneumo]

Yeah... It was a real steak and everything--not the weird paste-y stuff.

That was nice of him to share -- did he buy it on the moon?

[pneumo]

...I don't know. He just pulled it out of the fridge. [ Sascha didn't even think to question where it came from. He just sort of put it in his mouth. ]

Maybe, then. I doubt people would go hunting down there without experience.

[pneumo]

Are there actually animals and stuff on the moon?? I thought it was too dirty...

[nostraightlines]

I don't know... I haven;t been down there that much, honestly, when I need to get out of here I go to the Iskaulit.

Get the gauze ready.

[pneumo]

Oh! That's what Bigby and do-- [ Oh wait whoops right the gauze. Sascha picks that up again and...yep looks right at that deliciously red plastic tube. A younger Sascha would have tried to eat it and the blood instead.

Current Sascha just tries not to drool. ]

Easy, Sascha. Just press it there, you'll get this in a second.

[pneumo]

I'm sorry, I didn't mean... [ To stare like he'd just love to gnaw off Ramse's entire arm. He has more self-restraint than that, it's just that he's still reeling from actually being given the offer as he hastily holds up the gauze, determined to stare a hole into the bedding instead of Ramse's arm. ]

[nostraightlines]

[ He softens his voice; he didn't mean it that way. ]

You're fine. Here.

[ The needle's out and he bends up his elbow around the gauze to hold it in place while he takes care of the tube, careful not to drip blood anywhere but the kit. And now Sascha's just holding a thermos of fresh blood. ]

Go ahead, I'll get rid of this.

[pneumo]

Are you sure...? I can help! [ He's not so starved for a bit of blood that he can;t control himself long enough to be of use, surely. Maybe he just wants to prove it to himself. ]

Help me carry it down the hall..?

[pneumo]

--Okay! [ It's something, which is better than nothing. And he can put the thermos down without even casting a glance at it, look at that! He does have strength of will. ]
