[Dany had been relaxed in her chair, her book propped in her hands against the desk, but when the door opens she straightens. She becomes more alert, her violet eyes zeroing in on her guest.]

Yes, can I help you?

[She stands her hands folded in front of her as she waits for her guest to come closer. She didn't recognize her so she must be one of the new arrivals. She might be a Queen back home but even then she'd had advisors to guide her. In this, she had no one but herself and perhaps Qing, whom she'd named her second in command.]

I wanted to see your face.

[ There are only a handful of people that would know why Raven wanted to make sure she knew the face of her captain - you never know when taking someone's skin would be useful. It's not as though she wanted to do it, not here, not when she's not sure how safe it is, but the precaution is there and she has to allow herself it before she gets herself into trouble.

Frowning, she takes a step forward before she nods her head. ]

[ It's easier to just go along with it and nod her head, shifting a little. ]

It's fine. I just wanted to come and see who was in charge since it seems like I'm stuck here.

We all are, unfortunately. I'm sorry for that. I will do the best I can to help you and anyone else who has just joined the crew.

[She would love to go home, but then she has no idea what awaits her there, either.]

[ Raven knows when to blame people and when not to, and whoever this captain was it was hardly her fault that they were all here. She shouldn't be apologising for something she couldn't control. ]

It somewhat comes with the job description, as Captain, I think. It is my job to see to the affairs of my crew. I want all of you to feel as if you are at home - as close as that can be, at least.
