[Dany is still getting settled into the idea that she is now the captain of the Caprine. Several crew members have left and they currently have no pilot. The ship itself is stuck on autopilot for now because of it. Everyone is still suffering being in a cramped room of living quarters where the beds are all together but Dany has made herself home in the Captain's Office, just as she had done with Communications. Being one of the few women aboard the ship offered some liberties she took advantage of, even more so now that she was Captain.]

Hello and welcome, new members of the Caprine. Some of you I have met briefly already. Some of you I have not. Please, if you have any concerns or questions I would be happy to help. I am Daenerys Targaryen, the current Captain of the Caprine. Our previous Captain disappeared and by some grace of the Gods I was elected to take his place. I want to make this transition as smooth as possible for everyone new and current to the crew. Thank you.

[She may have rehearsed that a bit. She can be found in the Captain's Office contemplating over papers or reading one of Qing's books.]

[ Raven has been exploring, up and down and about, making herself comfortable and trying to make sure she knows what is going on aboard her ship. It's obvious she's a little frustrated, feeling more than just a little bit trapped, but she does her best to disguise it and shove it down rather than make an idiot out of herself; she's had more than enough of that feeling for an entire life. When she pushes the door of the captain's office open it's with a raised brow and a tilt of her head. ]

Captain Daenerys, right?

[ Aboard the Caprine, the new security was a little more absent than most might expect of her.

Most of her time was spent moving from her ship over to Hank's, spending her time with him and hovering about his lab as if it's where she belonged rather than on the too-small, too-tight ship she'd been placed on. The discomfort she feels is obvious as she walks around, a frown on her lips as if her skin is practically crawling; she can't be herself, not entirely, and she hates it, mistrust and dislike of the general population making her anxious and on edge. Add that to the way that nothing feels right, the way that things were between herself, Erik, Charles and Hank...

It was no wonder she was out of sorts.

Finally, she makes her way out of the bunks where she had been hiding her head and explores properly, eventually leading herself down to the quiet hum of the engine room. Leaning back against the wall, she rests there with her eyes closed, basking in the peace and quiet, letting her skin change from pale to blue without hesitation - at least until she hears a noise of anyone approaching, the scales melting away to return her to blonde and pale (though perhaps not fast enough).

Otherwise, Raven spends her time in the cargo hold, using the gym equipment and generally keeping to herself, the memory of Erik's words hanging around her like some kind of metal weight. ]

[Dany had been relaxed in her chair, her book propped in her hands against the desk, but when the door opens she straightens. She becomes more alert, her violet eyes zeroing in on her guest.]

Yes, can I help you?

[She stands her hands folded in front of her as she waits for her guest to come closer. She didn't recognize her so she must be one of the new arrivals. She might be a Queen back home but even then she'd had advisors to guide her. In this, she had no one but herself and perhaps Qing, whom she'd named her second in command.]

[Yyyeah, about that quiet engine room. Pinkie Pie the rather noisy engineer is in there, probably blocked from sight by the big honking engine in question, making sure THAT humming stays nice and quiet, even though HER humming's quite a bit louder. And WAY more cheerful. But she left her water bottle on the other side of the engine where Raven's sitting. They haven't had a LOT of opportunities to interact yet, but this little pony's DEFINITELY not letting this one slip by.]

[ True to his word, Leto leaves a tiny gift on Daenerys' doorstep. It is wrapped neatly in a thin golden paper and seems pretty unassuming at first glance. When she does open it, she'll find a wooden dragon, carefully put together. A simple child's puzzle, easily put together. ]

[Finn's settling in more and more. As strange as it is, this ship is already more of a home to him than anywhere he's been before - he can have personal possessions, he has his own assigned bunk, he can eat whatever and whenever he wants, and he even gets along with the rest of the crew. Mostly. That is, he hasn't butted heads with anyone yet.

Also he's asked his best friend to transfer over and be the new pilot, since they're lacking one, so he's excited about that.

While they're still near the moon, Finn is still out and about more than he's on the ship, so the best bet of catching him is around mealtimes, when he creates ever more ridiculous combinations of the protein gels to munch on.]

Roger that, Captain. Hey, I know a pilot, if we don't get one in a new Shuffle.

[The other Security officer also tends to spend a lot of time with the workout equipment - Finn tends to be there in the early morning, working mainly on his PT exercises for his back. One time when he gets there, though, it's occupied - and he's impressed by the number of weights she can take.]

You want a spotter?

[Diiid somebody say ridiculous cooking experiments~?]

Hiya, Finn~ Ooh, whatcha making this time?

Hey, Pinkie. [He gestures her over to look.] If I use the dry-solid texture, I can get the wheat gel to act like chips. Then add spicy chilli as soft-solid, cheddar as powder--

[And look! Nachos!]

[She honestly hadn't been expecting it, which is why when she steps out into the corridor she almost knocks the little figure over. Upon finding it and peeling the wrapping away, she turns it over in her hands before looking around to see who might have left it. She hadn't really spoken of her dragons to anyone aboard the Caprine - only Tyrion and Robb Stark - and to find a touching tribute to them made her heart swell a bit in her chest.

Clutching the wooden figure, she moves further away from her office, checking corners to see if anyone was nearby. She wanted to find him and thank him.]

Oooh, nachos~! [She takes a "chip", even though they're... not heated yet yeah Pinkie's a weird one.] Mmmm and it's got a nice little zip to it too! Hmm wonder if we can find some spicier stuff.

Had something like it down on the planet and thought I'd see what I could do.

[He gestures over to the little spice rack.] I'm not really sure what most of that is, but maybe there's something that'll help?

Hmmmm... black pepper, garlic powder, ginger powder... I dunno--

OH! DUH, I got something like that yesterday! Be right back!

[And a quick sprint off to the quarters! What could it be?]

Uhh--okay.

[He'll make up a few more of the chip-strips while she trots off. They're pretty good to dip into almost any of the other gels. Whoever said the food here was terrible isn't, he thinks, very creative.]

[ Raven is tense as soon as she hears someone else coming around, her hand dropping to a weapon that isn't there and her head lifting up, prepared to defend herself. The fact that it's not actually someone wanting to hurt her that comes around the corner shouldn't surprise her but it still does, just a little, and she has to force herself to calm down and relax before she settles back against her little space of the wall. ]

... Hi.

[ Many people are a little on the surprised side when they see just how much Raven can work with then it comes to keeping fit - a side-effect of her mutation, she thinks, making her a little faster, a little stronger, just a little bit better. If she could lie here and be blue she could lift even more, but half her concentration is used on making sure she doesn't slip and reveal too much.

The visitor doesn't shock her - she's seen Finn coming in and out a few times herself - but the offer does and she pauses for a moment before she nods. ]

Sure.

[The independence in this place is great, don't get him wrong, but there are some things he's ingrained to think of as group activities. Weight training is one of them, because it's far easier to note things when you have more than one pair of eyes.]

I'm Finn. You going for strength or endurance?

[He'll ask a few other such directing questions to get an idea what she wants out of the workout and helps her to tighten it up.]

[ Unlikely, but there's a little card with only Leto's name on it and the words . . . ]

Any gift that makes one smile is worth a thousand coins.

Thank you, Finn. I would appreciate their services, if they are willing to meet aboard the Caprine before making a choice. I don't want to put another crew out of a pilot so hastily.

[But honestly, if Finn says he's alright then that's enough for her. She wanted to put trust in her crewmates.]

The Golden's got two pilots, so we wouldn't be putting anyone out. His name's Poe, Poe Dameron, and he's the best pilot in the Resistance--that's who we work for back home. I can have him come over any time.

Then I look forward to meeting him if he's earned such high praise. What's he like - besides being a great pilot, of course.

[Finn grins widely.]

He's a good man. We run a lot of the war games together down on the moon - team player, good communication. Really at home in the cockpit. You wouldn't believe some of the moves he can pull in the air.

And he believes in fighting for what's right. I met him on a top secret mission to find--well, to find the guy who could bring hope back to people who needed it the most.
