[So much studious note-taking.]

Right, acceleration needs to be excellent.

Let's try some high speed maneuvers...

[Like an evasive corkscrew.]

Turning radius ain't great but we might be stuck with it just because of how big this is and the engine configuration. But did you feel that? We kind of slipped. Something's not quite in alignment between the drives and the dampeners I think.

[Nod nod.]

Yup, definitely don't want drive and dampeners to do that...

You got it. How about a quick inertia change-- [Melodramatic space ship acting!] You feel that vibration? Dunno what that is, but we better find out. [Poe, for god's sake, no one uses the shuttles like this. It's like he's trying to break it. (He kind of is.)]

WHOA!

[Welp, that sure is a sudden change in acceleration, thank goodness for pony seat belts.]

Noted...
helluva_pilot: (woo!)

That's a good start. Then we'll see how much more we can soup these things up. Good engineer and good pilot, right? We'll make a great team. [He is still flying the shuttle like a crazy person. Because that's what he thinks is fun.]

Yeah, a GREAT team!

[She only sounds a LITTLE woozy, thank you, roller coasters. Hoof bump?]
helluva_pilot: (grin)

[That's probably enough for one day, since that's plenty he's dumped on Pinkie's to-do list. He changes course to take them back to the ship.

Explain the fist bump, Pinkie. He needs to learn it. right now, he's a bit puzzled.]
spontaneouscombustion: (Heheh...)

[personal profile] spontaneouscombustion 2016-06-19 02:06 pm (UTC)(link)
... Ohhhh do they not have hoo-- er... HAND bumps in your world?
helluva_pilot: (man on a mission)

[personal profile] helluva_pilot 2016-06-20 04:55 am (UTC)(link)
Guess not. How's it work?

[personal profile] spontaneouscombustion 2016-06-20 01:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Easy! You touch your hooves together, like this! [She demonstrates between her own two hooves.] Hmmm it might work if you curl your fingers up.

[The word that likely doesn't exist in her language is "fist."]
helluva_pilot: (we're gonna do this)

[personal profile] helluva_pilot 2016-06-21 04:07 am (UTC)(link)
Make a fist? [He does so.] Okay. [Let's try this out. He holds his fist out like Pinkie had held her hoof out.]

Hoof bump~!

[And the flat of her hoof goes against the edge of his fist perfectly~
helluva_pilot: (grin)

wrap?

[personal profile] helluva_pilot 2016-06-22 04:50 pm (UTC)(link)
[You have taught Poe Dameron a new thing this day, Pinkie. He will never forget this. He grins.]

Hoof bump!
