I knew I should have looked up 'reality shows' a few months back.

[ The man who appears on the screen is currently looking at what seems to be a little notepad before adding the word 'space' next to the words 'reality tv'. Really, he could have done this space setting if it included an inter-galactic war or helping planets in peril.

But in all honesty, Steve Rogers: entertainer has never been his career choice and it's not his forte, either. At least now the whole thing doesn't include singing and girls in scandalously short skirts. ]

My name is Steve Rogers, currently aboard the SS Pathstone. I've done a little bit of reading while aboard the Marsiva. I understand there are those who are trying to help the people on the moon we're visiting, if there is anything you need, I'd do whatever I can do to help.

The same goes for going home. I imagine people have already looked into ways for us to leave this place. No one should be taken anywhere against their will. I'd like to hear about the information you have managed to collect and I'll do everything I can to make sure everyone will be able to go home safely.

[ the truth is on the tip of his tongue, the only woman steve rogers ever loved, the one woman he had loved since meeting, someone he had missed on, the reason he would disappear for an hour or two - to hold her hand at the hospital and place a kiss on it and tell her she's still his best girl, that he knows he's a bit late.

he shakes his head instead ]

I need you to promise me you'll protect her. If something ever happens to me or if I'm gone, I need to know that you'll look after her as long as you're here. She's important to me.

[He blinks, but the surprise in his features is short-lived and he nods solemnly.]

I will. There's been little danger here, but should it be necessary I will watch over her. [He tilts his head to one side.] Although I suppose it would be easier if you were to introduce us first. I'm given to understand she doesn't take kindly to unwanted interference.

That sounds like Peggy.

[ said with a little fond smile. one day, he'll tell you how she shot at him for kissing another girl, Vision. ]

[ for the promise. he's someone who'll never go back on one and it helps him calm down some. ]

So - Stark was here, Peggy is here. You, me. Anyone else I should know about?

[ he has his suspicious about Bucky but that will have to wait too ]

Wanda is here as well. Clint Barton seems to be from a different timeline, though I'm sure he's not terribly different than the one you know; his protege Kate is also a Hawkeye. I'll note that he's so far managed to behave himself, but Loki is on the Paisley.

[Why wait when we get get all the shocks to his system at the same time?]

And I do feel obligated to mention there's someone whom my first mate refers to as "Winter" and the records list as James Buchanan Barnes, captain of the Heron.

Loki?

[ the rest are one thing. Steve had suspected so much about Bucky from Peggy's hint he will contact you, she said. That he had taken another name is no surprise, Steve does so wish it would have been something else but Winter.

But Loki is a whole other. ]

[Interesting that's what should grab his attention, but Vision nods.]

Yes, he's assigned to the Paisley. He's not done anything overt, but I wouldn't preclude that he's had plans underneath his actions.

[His lips quirk with the beginnings of a smile.] I've told him I will be keeping an eye on him, which he resents.

Loki being here can't be good. Especially with Thor gone.

[ he's the only one who ever actually managed to have any sort of communication with the guy. ]

He may resent it but he earned it through and through and going by everything Thor said, he can't ever be trusted.

[The Vision inclines his head in agreement.] Thor was here, but briefly; he vanished after a few weeks.

[And Loki really hates Vision. Funny, since they'd never met before coming here.]

Yes. He's the only one I'm aware of we need be cautious around, though there are undoubtedly others from different timelines. There are many others here who have at least heard of the Avengers; in Kate's version of Earth the team has been around for decades.

well, that's good to know.

[ the survival of the Avengers means the survival of those who wish to protect the world and its people and in a world like theirs? it's an essential matter. ]

And Winter?

Captain of the Heron and by all accounts a good dancer. I haven't spoken directly with him myself, but he appears to be doing well.

[Does he really want to bring up the can of worms that's Jim? No, not unless he needs to.]

He always was. I was the unfortunate one out of us both.

[ and it's good news. it means bucky remembers at least that and it's a good memory compared to all the others that steve never heard of but knows are there. ]

Is Wanda doing alright? she's being looked after?

She's doing well, yes. There was some difficulty with her powers several months ago, but I was able to work with her until it subsided. We've met up several times on the moon. She is also a good dancer.

[Okay she's not a pro or anything but she seemed to have a good time, and that's what counts.]

She seems to be doing a good job of looking after herself.

I admit it's been on my mind since the masquerade.

[They're not on Earth, sheesh.]

Wanda and a few of the moon's residents who asked me. [So yeah, he's been thinking about her a lot.] Many of my other friends are already my crew members, so I didn't feel it was necessary to ask them to dance. I've become quite fond of the Windrose.

I hope we will.

[ if only so he could ask peggy for the dance he had promised her all those years ago. ]

[ she mostly stared and smiled but. ]

Does that surprise you? She's been a good friend to me.

[He's always glad to talk about his crew, and he seems to relax a bit.]

Natasha left the ship to me, actually; she was our previous captain. You're welcome to visit any time you like, although we're at full capacity at present.

[ lifting his arms in surrender ]

I'm glad to hear it, is all.

[ and, at the invitation - ]

I'd be glad to visit. I'll see Wanda regularly. I was offered a place at the Starstruck.

[He smiles in response to both.]

They'll be lucky to have you. And should you require cooperation between ships for anything, you have only to ask and the Windrose is at your disposal.
