Hardly. I have avoided them and they have avoided me. This is the first time I have used my abilities at the comms, and I am hardly acting in an official capacity.

Do you live on this ship? Then it doesn't matter how often you interact with the others or what you do here. You're officially part of the crew, and that makes you my concern.

I'm used to being a part of a team. [a shrug; what an understatement] A crew is a little different, I'm finding.

How so?

It's like you said - you've gone this long without really talking to anyone. That - wouldn't work with the teams I've been apart of. One of them was a lot like - mm, a second family. I'm very close to those people.

A crew - there isn't that obligation. We work together and live together, but the rest of it isn't . . . a necessity. That isn't to say it can't turn into that, but - [he purses his lips] It's an entirely different set of circumstances.

So. I am not obligated to fraternize with the crew, but I am expected to be tolerable to live with.

I assume you seek to define that for me.
