Around! And not so around.
[As time passes Kitty has been visiting the moon less. She doesn't enjoy wearing the mask and she's getting restless, hoping they can move on soon. She's been pretty directionless in the Fleet, and that becomes more apparent when the new distractions to explore run low.

She manages to burn off a lot of that restlessness with Winn which generally happens on the SS Tourist at night. If the shuttles are all on board at night you can almost guarantee there's one extra from Winn visiting. During the days when she's not at the Iskaulit for one reason or another you can find her reading on the bridge, exercising in the cargo bay, snacking in the kitchen—she tends to graze instead of eating meals when the meals are as they are, or just generally being around. She may hit you up for conversation or a game of chess at any moment though. Be prepared!]

Blameless Crew
[Kitty has set up a few visits from people she knows well on the Blameless. Scattered over time and without giving her actual reasons over the network. Don't worry. She's prepared to play chess or give you bacon or whatever she suggested. Of course, it's kelp bacon. Details, details.]

Wildcard
[Anything else. Plans and stuff. Random visits with or without invites. Running into other people's visitors!]

[ Sascha still gets those, right? Now that his teething is done and his nice, new, inch-long fangs have settled in and broken through the skin. The ache is gone, he doesn't feel like chewing nearly so much--but he does keep the silicone wad Bigby had fixed up for him, gnawing on that like a piece of oversized gum.

Or, you know. A ball. But either way. He's going to start showing up for those again, pushing his face into her door. ]

Kitty~~~~~~ I'm all better~! [ he just had to come tell her in person instead of calling, okay.

At 3:30 in the morning. ]

[it wasn't that he didn't trust Kitty. He just didn't trust offers to play chess, because no one asked him to play when if one wanted a challenge, they could contact Charles or Erik instead. It wasn't suspicious, per say, but - after what had been happening fairly recently, well - okay, he was naturally suspicious. It was healthy, at least.

When he steps onto the Windrose he sort of - stands there, awkward and out of place. His natural state, really, but even more so when faced with a place he doesn't quite feel like he should be welcome in. And yet, he has to remind himself that he was invited here - suspiciously, but nonetheless. He's almost thankful to be under the serum's effects, because it meant he was keeping control on the urge to fidget and let his anxiety get the better of him. He may not feel that way, but he could at least give off that impression.

Well, sort of. He was still Hank. When he spots Kitty he'll give a little wave]

[Kitty is in her bed all curled up next to Winn when she hears the voice from beyond her door and groans.]

Noooo... [She rubs her face against Winn.] What time is it?

(OOC: Winn will tag next!)

[Totally natural to be suspicious especially when you are being lied to. Kitty is there to meet him but she was expecting someone bluer to get out of the shuttle. Still she waves back without looking too surprised.] Got the serum working?

[It was window-cleaning day for the bots, so any visitors to the Windrose might find Castle's group of upgraded bots cleaning the ship's many windows. The squeegees could get a little loud, and sometimes the bots got in competition to clean off every last streak and bit of dust.

Castle... was following them with popcorn. Hey, it was either that or get back into playing paintball.]

[Castle's room was now too large to contain his creativity. After his "hey I might be dead" confession, he'd been struck with several ideas for a new mystery- starring, of course, characters who were similar to (but not actually) members of the Drift Fleet.

So he'd set up a board in the cargo bay, with lots and lots of sticky notes attached, to plan a story.]

[ he's in his chair, typing away with an almost psychotic fervor. to his right, a huge bottle of soda. to his left, a half finished pizza, and an assortment of snacks. wrapped around him are kitty's arms, and in his ears is kara, asking if he's got it yet. he's about to reply that he's almost there when james opens his mouth to speak and --

Kitty~~~~~~ I'm all better~!

...that doesn't sound like james.

he groans, frowning, trying to cling to the remnants of his dream; he's not ready to leave yet, everything was going so well - he almost had it! but what it is already slips out of his grasp. he turns reluctantly at kitty's question, fumbling for the clock. ]

...unreasonable o'clock. [ his voice comes out hoarse, heavy with sleep. it was such a nice dream, too. ]

[ It is wake up and pay attention to him o'clock, thank you very much. And even if he doesn't receive a reply Sascha will keep babbling at the door, pressed flat against it with his face turned to one side and his arms stretched up along it. ]

All my old teeth fell out and my mouth feels waaay better~! Are you in there?? Kiiiiitty~ Meow!

[ ...yes, he does meow. Maybe this is just a dream too.

A noisy, horrible dream. ]

[There's a low, unhappy growl as Sascha's continued talking proves this isn't a dream for her. She reluctantly rolls out of bed.] Am I dressed?

[She doesn't actually wait for an answer, but she is. More or less. There's a long t-shirt that covers her her upper thighs. She walks over to the door, thrusts her hand through the door, grabs Sascha and pulls just his upper body through. Because fuck physics, that's why!]

What is wrong with you?

[ he barely has time to push his head up on his elbow to check if she is - and hum his response - before there's half a guy through the door.

well that'll work to wake him up. he jumps up to a sitting position - and boy does he wish he woke up just a little faster and put on some pants but at least he has boxers on? - and holds up a soothing hand towards kitty ]

Hey -- cut him some slack. Pull him all the way in? [ he feels bad for the kid, if it were him, he'd be having a heart attack about now. the lesson would be driven home loud and clear -- but he'd be too busy dying to really learn it. ]

[ Well it's definitely startling for him considering he'd asked Kitty not to phase him through objects after her warning about getting stuck, so when it happens unexpectedly he at first thinks the door must've opened and he's fallen through, but Kitty's grabbing him and it's Kitty, she's awake! Awesome! and...oh. Hey, he can smell and hear someone else there too. Isn't that the guy who asked about France and Abe??

He'd say 'hi' but he's only just now looking down and noticing that half of him is sticking through a wall and his eyes go wide, automatically fumbling and trying to grab onto Kitty. Mostly as an anchor. ]

--No walls! [ He doesn't want to live in a wall for the rest of his life. ]

Nnnngh. [She hates you both. Or she hates morning. Or the middle of the night? Or not getting sleep? Something is hated okay? She jerks him the rest of the way in and lets go once he's free of it. She stays phased. The momentum might have him falling through her. She's not that concerned.]

[ you can't hate the slinky maker, it's in the rule book.

winn looks away, practically hissing at the sight of him falling through his girlfriend (do remind him never to piss her off!) and busies himself with finding his pants. once he gets those on, he walks over to sascha and offers him a hand. ]

You ok?

[ Yep, right through Kitty and onto the floor. Not actually surprising since that's how they first met way back when on the Marsiva, but it is a little disappointing considering she'd been staying solid around him the last while.

Falling does mean his sunglasses jostle some and nearly fall off his nose, but luckily the light has yet to be turned on so he can actually see fairly well, and blinks up at Winn as he lifts his chin. ]

Uh-huh... [ This is definitely the guy who was talking about school. Why is he in Kitty's room? ]

[Kitty reaches down as if she'll find cigarettes but she hasn't smoked in a month and she doesn't even have pockets on the t-shirt. There's another growling sound because words are hard. Is it clear yet that she spent some of her formative years with Logan?]

Why are you here? [More annoyed with a touch of whiny than actually angry.]

[ kitty's annoyance works to soothe winn's, and he instinctively takes on the role of mediator. he gives her what's meant to be a soothing look - they can sleep in tomorrow it's not like either of them has a job to get to - and tries to help sascha up. ]

Is something wrong? [ seems like one of those dumb but necessary questions to get things going in the right direction again - he woke them up in the middle of the night something has to be wrong. ]

[ ...........................WELL, I MEAN.... ]

...My mouth's all fixed! [ His teeth. The thing. Teething, he's done he means, sitting back on his knees once Winn's helped him up and letting go so that he can catch the corner of his mouth and pull it back to show off his gorgeous, pearly whites that are...about three times longer than they've ever been before, actually. Most of the time they stay up in his gum waiting to be released into unsuspecting prey, but with their fresh arrival they've yet to settle and sink appropriately so he has these instead of his normally-small ones. ]

So we can do dance lessons again~

[ Has he ever mentioned he's nocturnal-- ]

[when she does he heads over to her, one hand shoved in his pocket and his shoulders hunched a little, slumped over. One thing about being like this again was that all his little tics were on display again, more obvious than when he's "Beast".

Of course, sometimes that works in his favor. Like when he wants to give people looks, like the one he's giving Kitty]

Mm, I decided to take a - break from the claws for a while.

Chess, Kitty? Really?

[Totally nonplussed by the giant teeth.] That's super-terrific. I'm going back to sleep. [That's not really going to happen is it? Also with the tiny, almost non existent amount of room in this bedroom—when is that upgrade coming through?—she will just phase through anyone or anything in her way until she's on the cot again, smashing her face into a pillow.

Sorry, Winn. This is grumpy Kitty. It was probably time to see her for yourself.]

And to think I'm all about getting my claws back. [There's a little smile, but having claws you can strap on and off is a lot different than experimenting on yourself and ending up blue and furry in a permanent kind of way.]

Nah. That was just a ruse to get you in my clutches. [She seems pretty laid back for such a statement.] I wanted to talk to you about someone on your ship and I couldn't do that over the network.

I do have a chess board though.

[ did they somehow fast forward so far in their relationship they now have an annoying 5 year old? because that is officially too fast.

he gives sascha an incredulous look - nope, kid just lost all his sympathy with that excuse and what even are those teeth? either he needs so much more sleep, or he's been asking all the wrong questions.

rubbing his eyes tiredly, he heads for the door, opening it and nodding towards it. ]

Great, come back when the hour part of the clock has double digits.

[ 03 is totally a double digit okay.

But for what it's worth the comment does make Sascha take a moment to assess the situation he's actually intruded upon, and rather than his face lighting with sudden understanding of embarrassment, it's sudden understanding and excitement. ]

--Ohhhh! You guys were asleep, wow I totally forgot about that haha! [ Silly humans and their doing that at night. ]

I knew it. [he makes a show of rolling his eyes, but there's a hint of a grin he can't hold back] Try Go Fish next time, that's more my game. [it's a joke, but he's glad that it wasn't - something else. What was he even expecting? Who knew]
