Who: Yuri Kozukata & you!
Broadcast: Fleet-wide video
Action: The Marsiva if there's anyone even around for that
When: now right now
[here's a clattering noise when everything turns on as Yuri wakes slowly at first, only to realize this isn't her bed in Hisoka's house and sits up to send everything flying. Her device skids across the floor and Yuri sits stock-still for a few long moments, taking everything in.
She climbs out of bed and picks the device up, staring at it incomprehensibly for a moment before something else seems to catch her attention and she looks off.] Hi...soka...? [okay but what the fuck actually tho. This is clearly not Hisoka's home, nor the Shadowspring. It didn't feel like she'd gotten sucked into someone's memories.
She looks at the device again, her expression trying to stay carefully neutral despite the corners of her mouth turning down and the furrowed brow indicating clear confusion. There's a certain haunted quality about her face, like someone who hadn't quite decided yet if living or dying was a better option. She looks away again and starts walking]
This isn't Japan, is it? Where...? [She mutters to herself as she wanders along, looking suspicious and concerned in equal measure because the further she goes, the more questions she has] The Camera Obscura isn't here either. [So she's in a really weird place with no weapon-- granted, said weapon was only good against dead people, but still.
Everything's quiet again until she finds the huge observation windows, where she drops her device in shock.] What--!? [Oh look, actual emotion!
She inches forward and knocks experimentally on the glass and then jumps back as it becomes clear it's not just a painting or something. Yuri whirls around and grabs the device from where it's fallen, trying to keep herself together despite the rising urge to freak the fuck out]
Where am I? [She speaks into the device this time, trying to keep the panic out of her voice] I can't really be expected to believe I was kidnapped by-- by aliens, can I? Where is Hisoka, and Miu-san and the others?

video;
Uh, hey. Welcome, I guess. This isn't Japan. It's--I'm not sure what the moon is called, but you're on the Marsiva right now. You did get kidnapped by aliens. Sorry.
video;
Beep breath in. Slow exhale. Maybe she's dreaming? She pinches her arm, winces, and frowns again as she looks at Finn again.]
...And it's not a dream, either. [A statement, not a question, and Yuri seems to deflate somewhat.] And let me guess, getting home is impossible?
video;
[At least, unlike him, she didn't assume she was dead. Things could be worse.]
Actually, they say we go home if we win their reality show game. So it's not impossible.
video;
That's ridiculous. [She raises her free hand to rub her head; she can already feel the headache building] So... How do we win?

But how-- Why did-- [She stops and starts a few questions, having honestly no idea where to even start. First things first, she supposes.]
Is there a place I can check? A list of names, or something?

[The how of it still eludes him. The why though:] It seems we're to be someone's entertainment. [There is no small amount of bitterness in that one word.]
I don't know. But if they were here, then I'd imagine they would respond to this.
no subject
Entertainment. Right, of course. [Yuri closes her eyes and shakes her head] But whose?
[And that's..a. good point. She hasn't heard anything from anyone familiar, and that just makes her shoulders slump more.] Why me... [A question aimed more at herself than for Jon to try and answer.]

I can explain things, if you'd like?
video
She looks away from the device to the windows again and for a moment says nothing before she slowly nods] Please. ['Please explain,' she means.]
video
But if it helps... I'm not from Earth, and I've never been there. Earth sounds kind of weird to me, honestly. A lot of people here are the same. I can promise I'm not from the same universe as any version of Earth.
As for the rest... Well, I'll show you the detailed version in a minute, but for now- Does your world and time period have TV? That will make it easier to explain.
video
The fact she chose to say 'your world and time' is alarming too for entirely different reasons, and Yuri feels a spike of anxiety and panic that she desperately smothers back.
Deep breaths, Yuri. You can get through this. You've fought hordes of murderous ghosts and shit, you got this. What's a little time-and-world displacement.]
Er... Yes, they do. What does that have to do with getting kidnapped by aliens...?

[She echoes him for lack of anything better to respond with. THEY'VE BEEN KIDNAPPED AND THAT'S WHAT HE APPARENTLY FOCUSES ON??] So-- You've seen them?

She closes her eyes briefly and straightens, carefully getting herself under control.] And we're stuck and can't leave, right? This is a nightmare...

[She folds her arms, smiling sadly at the poor girl.]
We can't leave. I'm sorry to tell you that, but it's the truth. Every one of us has been taken from our homes and we are forced to adapt to this place, for lack of better options.

Don't know where 'Japan' is, but if you're not recognizing this place, I'm going to guess this isn't it.
Maker knows this whole thing is ridiculously jarring, but you'll get used to...not being used to this, if that makes sense? Talking to the people here helps, especially with the boredom you're probably going to feel over there.
[It did for him, at least.]
Oh, sorry, hello! I'm Anders, welcome to space and a general lack of privacy.
Video
...Hi. [So she was stuck here, it seemed. The others had been helpful too, at least, but she keeps holding out hope that at least one person is going to go, 'just kidding! This is all a coma dream while you're being murdered by a spirit or something!' Which, while not ideal, would at least make sense to her. Which is saying something, really.
Yuri shakes her head and straightens after her lackluster greeting, takes a deep breath, and tries again.] I'm Kozu-- Eh... Yuri Kozukata. Nice to meet you, Anders. [She finishes it with a bow, because she can be polite like that.]
You don't know Japan...? Where are you from?
Video
A pleasure to meet you as well, Yuri. [He bows back, a polite gesture in his own culture, even if ti wasn't one he often used. She'd done it first, there was no reason not to return it.]
I'm from Thedas, Ferelden more specifically. I haven't been very many places, I'll admit, but none of the maps I've ever seen have mentioned a Japan.
