Who: Ahsoka + You
Broadcast: Yep!
Action: Not really (though if you want to find her, she'll be in her room on the Starstruck)
When: idk today
Hey! Soooooo since we're all stuck here, and going outside on this planet kinda sucks bigtime right now, I've been making it a project of mine to try and learn as much as I can about the different cultures of the other worlds people here are from! Particularly Earth, because there's so many of you! Someone told me the collective noun is "Earthlings"? Anyway.
I've been trawling through the media library, but to be honest, I'm not very good at sitting and reading for long periods of time. So I figured, why not just ask you guys instead?
Tell me one (or more!) thing about your home world that you think is culturally significant. It can be traditional, religious, social, or pop culture is fair game too! After all, it's no fun when people are making pop culture references that fly over my head.
The only rule is that you can't say the same thing as someone else. You ready? Go!

My old master managed to find the real culprit though, while the trial was going on. He brought them to the court to confess, so in the end I got off. I don't have any illusions about what would've happened otherwise, though. The jury was about two seconds away from pronouncing me guilty.

Yes.

so who actually did it?

In fact, Ahsoka is busy trying to come up with a suitable reply, staring at the words she writes before discarding each one after another as inadequate. "Barriss Offee," is the easy answer, but that won't mean anything to Natalie. Ahsoka can already hear the follow up question to that reply: "Who's that?"
"My best friend"? Barriss was no longer her friend, after that. "A former friend"? Too dramatic. "Another Jedi"? Untrue. "An ex-Jedi"? Too complicated to explain, only leads to more questions. Quite simply, Barriss Offee occupies a space in Ahsoka's life that defies easy labels.
Finally:]
Someone who was unhappy with the way things were being run, and thought that it would be worth it to commit a terrible crime if it would bring out into the open the corruption present in our current government.

I'd say it worked out pretty badly.

Anyway.
Sorry. I didn't mean to go on about ... drama from home.
[It's not like they can do anything about it here. And Natalie is uninvolved; it isn't fair for Ahsoka to rant about her home problems to her.]

I don't mind talking about it. I'm used to it. But I think it must get exhausting for other people. Listening to it, I mean. It's not exactly light dinner table discussion, you know?

Sometimes I get a little bit carried away. Once you get me started.

sorry about your almost execution

Thanks. I'm sorry too. It's all right though. Even if they'd really pronounced me guilty, I don't think I was ever in any danger of really being executed. Anakin would have found a way to break me out. That's the sort of person he is. Worst case scenario, I'd probably just be a fugitive.

But back home, he was my old master. The person responsible for my training. Even if that doesn't really adequately describe it at all.
I guess you could say-- he's like a brother to me. A protective big brother, who's always got your back, no matter what.
