Hey! Soooooo since we're all stuck here, and going outside on this planet kinda sucks bigtime right now, I've been making it a project of mine to try and learn as much as I can about the different cultures of the other worlds people here are from! Particularly Earth, because there's so many of you! Someone told me the collective noun is "Earthlings"? Anyway.

I've been trawling through the media library, but to be honest, I'm not very good at sitting and reading for long periods of time. So I figured, why not just ask you guys instead?

Tell me one (or more!) thing about your home world that you think is culturally significant. It can be traditional, religious, social, or pop culture is fair game too! After all, it's no fun when people are making pop culture references that fly over my head.

The only rule is that you can't say the same thing as someone else. You ready? Go!

As for your question . . . I would say the scientific advancements people have made in the last couple of years, but - they sort of fail in comparison to what's here and what I've heard of worlds in a more - uh, recent time.

You know there are many of all those things, right? [It's not that she thinks Ahsoka's getting anything wrong here. She just wants to start at the beginning in case no one else had explained that part and the media library wasn't helpful for it.] I mean, earth has many cultures and subcultures. So there are lots of different traditions, religions, taboos, foods, shows, movies, books, and types of music. At least mine did. I think it's true of everyone I've met from another version though. The variety might be culturally significant.

Give me some credit. The Galactic Republic back home has over twenty thousand member systems. Jedi education includes formal history and culture lessons on at least a few hundred. I can handle a few different variations of Earth.

I am not from Earth either, but...I imagine one of the most significant things is that much of the known world traces something of itself back to the ancient city of Cymellune - heritage, architecture, religion, magic....and even our calendars. They all connect to it in some small way.

In Westeros, we have tourneys -- jousts, Lady Ahsoka. And the champion always crowns the Queen of Love and Beauty with flowers.
