[Vash has spent much of his time since the planet came in range investigating the equipment that had malfunctioned in the terra-forming process. Finding much of it different from what the Plants used in their terraforming, but some of it also being the same.

It was a little eerie. How close his own planet could be to destruction if the Plants give out.

How close it was. To happening if his brother had his way.

Find Vash out wandering the woods checking out how nature is adapting (or not). Or find him tinkering carefully with the broken equipment.

At some point he takes out his communicator when he tires of hitting dead ends in his tinkering.]

I'm just curious. What does the fleet feel about what has happened to this planet? It's awful what happened to the equipment and the air, but was it something that should have been tried in the first place? The terra-forming I mean. Should the planet have been left in piece or was it okay to try to change it in order for people to live?

I think so. No one counts on a malfunction unless they're just a terrible person, right~?

Terraforming is only fiction where I'm from. People have the idea for it, but it hasn't actually happened. So... do you feel different? I'm curious! If you don't mind my asking, of course.

Well, I suppose it wouldn't be very fair of me to ask and not share my own experience.

I think the will to survive is a remarkable thing and if it can keep someone alive so long as it's not killing anything else on the planet it's a good thing. I mean, it's important to try to fix what is happening in your home first, but if it's beyond repair then to do what you must to survive? I really can't find a fault with that.

Yeah, I can't either. I agree. [ Beat. ] Well, I have no evidence against the people here, so I want to keep believing it was just a malfunction that did this. And that nothing was here to be disturbed by their terraforming. And I definitely want to help, if we figure out a way that we possibly could. You know?

[ She really hopes she's not wrong... ]

I don't see why anyone would want to make a whole moon or planet this poisonous. Their technology is different from what I've seen in my world, but hopefully maybe someone else among us or after us can change things. After all they do say where there is life there is hope.

Vash. And as much as I love praise, I have to admit it was someone else who gave me that piece of advance. But you're right, she was very wise.

[ "Was"... aww. But she leaves that thought alone, and stays positive instead. After all, she's glad she got to hear such a touching saying! ]

It's a great message to share. She always said that the ticket to the future is always blank. So I try to live my life to that idea. Who knows where that ticket will send me after all?

I mean, traveling in space while on a television show is not what I would have guessed.

Me neither! Maybe we get to go home after the season finale, or something... My friends probably let some things get out of hand without me around, so I should really get back... ~ [ She sighs - it's obviously exaggerated. ♥ ]

[Vash hopes everyone will get to go home, but he won't say that. He doesn't like spreading negativity.] Heh, I'm sure they don't let things get out of hand on purpose.

Maybe not! But it happens either way... At least it's nothing we can't ever clean up. [ Wink! ]

That's good. Because trust me, messes that can't be cleaned up are a major headache. [Buildings are not very easy to clean up when they've been knocked over sadly.]
