[The video clicks on to an unusual-looking man with maroon skin and a yellow gem set into his forehead. Though he's been a familiar sight around the Windrose, the Vision doesn't tend to post much so he wouldn't be surprised if there are many unfamiliar with him.

This is a special occasion, however. There's even what looks like a cake in the background.]

There was a slight time differential between my last memories of home and the calendar here. Namely, I seem to have missed the month of June entirely. Given that lack, today is the three hundred sixty-fifth day since I was created.

Accordingly, there is cake and ice cream on the Windrose for any who should care to visit.

[He pauses and furrows his brow slightly.]

I cannot vouch for the taste of either, but I assure you they received the highest ratings from the shops they were purchased at.

Frankly, I could not imagine a better present than having all of you as my crew.

[Well obviously. Morale officer and all. That's one happy fox in a party hat.]

When is your birthday, in that case?

Well yeah presents aren't necessary. They're nice. That's why people do them.

How shall I reciprocate, then? Perhaps you could have a celebration on the anniversary of your arrival here?

Oh, that would be fun! I like cake and ice cream and stuff. I don't really remember what day I got here though.

Hmm. Is there a day you like more than any others, perhaps?

I really like Tuesdays. Just because. [She might have missed the point of that.]

[The Vision gets a slightly pained expression.]

I was referring to a particular day of the year. I take it there's nothing in particular that stands out?

[Oh. Whoops.

She thinks about it for a minute.]

Um. Well. February 6 is the day the Battle of the Line started, and April 3 is the day it ended. But like a year apart. But those are the only two important dates I know?

Well. And Halloween. Because Halloween is neat! I want to dress up as a cat this year.

[That's better; he seems relieved.]

Perhaps April 3, then, as a victory is worth celebrating.

But I would be happy to sponsor a Halloween party, regardless. You would look good in a cat costume.

Okay, April 3 is a good day! [She'll try to remember that's her birthday too, then.]

Aw, thanks! You can start thinking about your costume too. It's not too early!

We'll have to celebrate it when it comes along again. [If they're both still here by then, of course.]

...Would it be permissible to reuse my masquerade outfit? I am told I made a colorful Phantom of the Opera.

Okay! Hopefully you remember it. [She might not. But she'll write something down... somewhere.]

You can if you want? But it's more fun to surprise people with something new. So if you really liked that costume, we can do like a riff on it, so it's the same costume but with a twist.

I'll note it in the ship's chronometer. [That way, even if he vanishes before then, the ship will have record of it. not that he plans on going anywhere, but one can never tell.]

A "riff" on it? [He looks puzzled.] Perhaps once it draws closer, you can explain what you mean by that and help me to modify it.

Like... you know. The thing with a twist. Like a mocha is a riff on a regular coffee. Use what you have but change it up a little, and make it into something new.

A variation on the theme? That should be entirely possible.

[And there are a couple people who have offered their sewing skills.]

Ah, yes. Mr. Stark would often praise the guitar riffs of certain songs.

She has, yes. [He gestures Wrath over to a table, where he's set Wanda's gift.] She gave me a camera to document our travels.

[If Wrath inspects it, the only picture on it so far is a selfie of Wanda and the Vision.]

Good! [Aw, this is so cute! She takes a look at the camera, but doesn't mess with it.] What a sweet gift! Are you going to take pictures of your fish and stuff?

[Grin.]

I suppose I could take a photo of each of the ship's pets for reference.

I hadn't really thought about it yet, beyond taking pictures of the planets and moons we visit.
