[If anyone ever had a doubt that Tyrion Lannister likes to keep himself occupied, today would be the day that he put all doubts to rest. His fingers flick against the side of his camera as he is reaching for a book. Which is good, because he's got three open now. He frowns at one paragraph, then pushes off with his chair - with wheels, fascinating things these.

Then he was picking up a screwdriver, turning to a tank that looked a great deal like the displays at the Green Museum, twisting a brace into place, eying it, then rolling back across the floor to check on the panels for the engine. He picked up a clipboard, put down the screwdriver and exchanged it for pencil while he marked off a few things on a list, then pushed himself off to roll back to his desk, where he flipped a page on his second book, muttering quietly to himself.]

'This means that the center of mass of the arrow–where gravity acts–is further forward than the center of pressure–where aerodynamic forces act. This results in the aerodynamic forces helping to stabilize the flight of the arrow.'

[He tapped the page, then pushed off again to his work-table, where a variety of weapons were lying on the surface, and plucked up the bow.] Yes, all right, that means I just need to change the density of the string and curve the bow a little more for the right amount of pressure per inch... good, good.

[He hummed as he put the bow back down, and reached underneath for his toolbox, singing softly to himself as he went through the varying strings he had gathered for said bow.]

I'm malicious, mean and scary

[Clearly, Tyrion is something of a workaholic, when he gets himself going.]

[She looks over curiously as he gets to work. Her expression as he hands it do her is somewhere between amused and genuinely touched. Not quite a slinky, but it's up there.] I don't know what to say when you say things like that about yourself, so I'm just going to hug you again.

[He looked up at her, with a faint little smile. Then he opened his arms.] Please, feel free to hug me as much as you'd like.

[Oh, she will! She gets down from the chair and wraps her arms around him. It's a little odd with the height difference, but given all the various mutants she's hugged over the years she's used to...variety.] You're very sweet. [She kisses his cheek too before releasing him and straightening back up.]

I expect to see my reward for Excellent Friend, soon enough. [He pressed his lips together, grinning.]

But being my friend is reward enough? [Look at this innocent hopeful look you're getting right here.]

Oh, always. [He grinned mischievously.]

[She smiles.] I'll see what I can do. [She is going to make you a THING, Tyrion.]

[He crinkles a smile at her, before gently giving her the elbow, and another hug.] Thank you.

Thank you for being one of the most interesting people I know. And that's really saying something in a place like this. [The competition is steep.]

[tallasaking]

[He did a deep and sweeping bow, his eyes twinkling.] Thank you ever so much, and thank you, for being one of the kindest, and certainly most interesting people that I also know.

Thank you, but kindest? Really? [That was so not an adjective she would have guessed for herself.]

You are in the top five, at least. [He stated with a completely straight face.]

Maybe they'll do a spin off show on me. The Friendly Assassin.

That ... actually sounds like a grand idea. [He laughed softly.]

[passingthrough]

[Laughing softly.] Do they have television where you're from? I'm guessing no. Plays? Theater?

[tallasaking]

Plays, and theater ... but not television.

[passingthrough]

I guess it would be weird to have reality theater.

[tallasaking]

Oh, we have plays about people in our time - highly dramatized.

Yeah? Are there any about you?

Not yet ... but I am sure there will be.

Because I am infamous.

And what they think I did to my nephew, yes.
