[The broadcast opens up with Sora who looks like he's sitting on the cargo bay floor of the Golden, surrounded with a few cleaning droids. When he speaks, he seems awfully cheerful]

You know, it occurs to me that I've almost been here two months- and I haven't really said hi to everybody!

So...Hiya! [He gives a wave to the camera] I'm Sora! I'm the maintenance guy on the SS Golden! Nice to meetcha all! Even if we've...already met!

[Yeah!]

Which, speaking of maintenance...! [He rubs the back of his neck] Ha, I'm pretty new at the job, so I was wondering if anyone knew, just out of curiosity...

What do you do when the smoke detector's smoking?

Ha, well, the detector kept beeping! So I tried to fix it, since that's my job!

And it...didn't go as smoothly as I'd hope it would.

Hmmm I dunno, I'd think putting smoke IN the detector would just make it beep MORE.

Ooh! If you put it in water or a vacuum, the combustion should stop! Probably wanna go with a vacuum since the water might shock people!

Well, I dunno. Dezel and Pinkie brought up good points, so I'm thinking of throwing it out the airlock!

You realize that if you do that, your ship won't have a smoke detector anymore, right?

Yeah, but I'll find a replacement!

In the meantime, one of my crewmates is really good at picking up things like smoke.

Really. You're going to stake your life on maybe finding a replacement and maybe that particular crewmate staying on board any time you might have a fire.

Yeah haha, they do that sometimes. [THEY ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO] Just open it up and put the fire out, it's fine. [NEGATIVE??]

[Which could be good or bad...but hey!! Sora's willing to be an optimist about his ego!]

Oh really? That doesn't sound too bad! Everyone made it sound like it was a big deal.

Oh no, nothing like that. I used to be the engineer for the Golden, but that was a while ago. I didn't know if they ever ended up replacing me. Anyway, don't worry about those detectors! They just do that, it's not a problem. I'm sure they work just fine. [don't take his word for it, he has no idea]

Oh- [Well that's a little disappointing. Aw well.] Well I wouldn't say they replaced you. We actually still don't have a full engineer- I'm just in charge of smaller stuff...I think.

[It's really all pretty confusing, but he's really not sure he wants to risk blowing up the warp core if he can help it]
