Good day everyone, this is Jim Kirk speaking, of the Tourist. If I could have your attention for one moment -

I have a request - I'm looking for someone who is good with chemical analysis of biological materials. Namely flora from the moon. My ship isn't equipped for an analysis and I'll be the first to admit that such analysis has never been my forte. I would like a partner in figuring out what chemicals, exactly, have affected the planet. I believe this is one of the first steps in helping the people here recover.

I've done some chemistry, but it isn't part of my field. I'm in the astronomy area, but I've been trying to research the moon and figure out how to help the people recover as well.

Would you mind me coming over and seeing what you find? I've made some findings as well, and I think if we work together on this, we can really help these people out.

No, of course not. If anyone can find a good solution based on the results, I think it's worth a shot. More heads the better for this sort of thing, I think. Several plans of action for the people to pursue after we leave might not be a bad idea.

Yeah, definitely. I keep worrying about what'll happen to the vegetation if we manage to clear up all the pollution; they've been used to the air and soil for a long time, and changes to it might have some consequences. So I was thinking - We've still got a bunch of seeds for the Iskaulit garden from other planets, what if we give some to them? That way they've got something in case the worst happens.

Hmm, but that could pose it's own problem. Introducing non-indigenous species to any environment isn't something to do lightly. It runs the rill risk of the seeds we provide destroying the native plants. It would be better to try and find ways to restore the native ecology to its healthy state.

They've managed their food so far, I think they can manage until the environment returns to healthy stasis.
