Good day everyone, this is Jim Kirk speaking, of the Tourist. If I could have your attention for one moment -

I have a request - I'm looking for someone who is good with chemical analysis of biological materials. Namely flora from the moon. My ship isn't equipped for an analysis and I'll be the first to admit that such analysis has never been my forte. I would like a partner in figuring out what chemicals, exactly, have affected the planet. I believe this is one of the first steps in helping the people here recover.

I ... could not agree more. It is time more people took responsibility for what is in front of them, truly understanding the problem without sweeping it under a rug.

_{[ Kirk can do complex, but he can do trusting to. In fact, he relies on people he trusts quite a lot in his line of work. Some might say he trusts to easily, but for Kirk it was a matter of having faith that people were inherently good. ]}

This sort of problem, I agree with stepping in. Others, it's really not our place. I have to think there is more to the history of this problem than we can see, but I seriously doubt we have the time, resources, or luxury of sorting out the finest of details.
