Hello! [Lily waved to the screen, there seemed to be some smoke..no steam rising to occasionally fog the lense. She was dusting her hands off on a towel before she tossed it onto her shoulder.]

Well, exciting month last month eh? Parties, dances and meeting all sorts of new friends. I didn't want to do anything until all that fun had worn off; but I may have managed to obtain some things to help ease the space travel after such lavish offerings. [And with that the camera pans down and around, hey she's gotten good at this since her arrival! And there is food, not as grand as the tables at the party but still quite a spread of breads, pastries, cheese and real meat.]

And as a special gift, Captain Furiosa, [She raised a small fruit in her hand. A peach, three others were on the table next to a plate of grilled peaches and popovers.] All food is available in the galley, stop on by when you get a chance.

Have I told you lately that I love you?

[She laughed and grabbed a plate to hand over to Nova.]

I think you mean you love my cooking. But I'll take it.

Don't take it personally. I love food.

Who doesn't? Mum was the best cook, I remember her cooking being the center of holidays and how it made everyone feel. Sort of feels like we could all use a little of that here.

Closed to Lily

[Furiosa is stunned into silence. She hadn't thought she'd ever see one again, in the whole fruit, not any of the flavored paste or watered down canned varieties that were incomprehensible from the real thing. Her gratitude goes beyond a reply on the network; she's remembering all those days, all those years she carried the peach pit, waiting for a chance to plant it in the Green Place - a chance that would never come.]

[She finds Lily in the galley and puts a hand on the back of her neck, lightly touching her forehead against Lily's as a sign of gratitude.]

[Tonight Furiosa can be found in the galley, wanting the peaches as well as the company in a rare good mood as she's ever been in.]

[ came to investigate the food. stayed to investigate the food, but she seems like she's in an okay mood too ]

Those look pretty great.

They are. [She holds one out to Nova to try, which is about the greatest honor she could give.]

Are you sure?

I'm sure.

[Her voice is soft, but sure. She smiles a little and wiggles the pair.] Unless you don't want it?

[The Captain is rarely one for small shows of emotion so this catches Lily by surprise and nearly makes her cry, just a little.

She knew Furiousa's life had been dark, but such small acts of kindness shouldn't be so rare for her. And if Lily had her way from now on they wouldn't be.]

I was happy to do it, I really hope you like them!

[She steps back, smiling, and loads a plate up with peaches and pastries before taking a seat at the table.]

Looks like you've been busy, how long did it take you to make all this?

Well it's been a fair bit of the morning in getting things peeled and ready. A few hours I guess. But it lets me feel useful round here. I can't do much else compared to most of you.

[She wasn't a pilot or a fighter persay. She was just herself.]

[She chuckles lightly.] Really, there's not much any of us can do. Atroma's taken the purpose out of a lot of lives for the excuse of leisure.

[She appreciates being busy, too.]

For Lily

Tyrion enters the kitchen, pulls up a stool to be next to Lily herself, climbs up on it and kisses her fondly and warmly on the cheek.

"Have I mentioned today that I adore you, my very best friend, Lily Evans? Because I absolutely do."

For Everyone else

Tyrion has contributed to the small feast with a bottle or two of wine, and some fruit juice as well. How he got that? You may never know. Or just may never want to ask him.

Either way, he is happily eating a plate with a book in front of him, a glass of wine before him. Today is an Excellent Day.

[In answer to that - he pulls over another cup and pours Nova a generous amount, before nudging it over to the seat right across from him.]

So ... I met someone the other day who looks exactly like you, right down to the scowl. Different coloring, however. [Is his opening statement.]

[ sits and takes a drink of the wine ]

That's unsettling.

Even more so when she told me that she was making sure that I was not another person who apparently looks just like me - with different coloring and with the lack of scars.

[He gestured to her with his cup.]

This is an odd place we are in, my dear Nova.

She leaned to make that kiss a bit easier and then grinned.

"Not until just now, so you are clearly behind quota." Lily tugged a cloth off a plate of meat (she really isn't sure what but it smells something like beef) and a starchy sort of tuber that passed for potatoes if you squinted, green and violet color aside.

"Thought you might like something more like home."

He looks down at that plate, with meat and potatoes, and very nearly bites his own fist. Then he looks up at her.

"You really do love me, don't you?"

[gifted_witch]

"If only I were older or you were younger or perhaps if I liked you a bit less." She snickered and took the liberty of pouring herself some of the wine he so graciously brought and adding food to her own plate.

[She's there - with peaches, and watches Tyrion with a small bit of apprehension. She is at least trying to make an effort not to be so intimidating, but of course that's always a struggle.]

[He looks up when Furiosa speaks, and offers her a mild smile, before he flips the book up for her perusal. It is, of all things, a book of poetry by Robert Frost. Someone he has not heard of before today, but he is trying to broaden his horizons.]

[She takes the book carefully and flips through it, keeping a finger in place so she won't lose Tyrion's spot. It's been a while since she's read something like this, but some of the little phrases and verses sound vaguely familiar. She flips it back open to his spot and slides it across the table to him.]
