How it's broken?

Excuse me if that sounds a bit ominous.

We have people who think like that back home, they're not very nice people.

you think it wrong to wish to know how to break a spell or a curse?

Depending, yes. Maybe the caster cast it for a good reason, or maybe the person breaking it is breaking it for a bad reason. There's no way to know.

It's better to know how to defend yourself or know what to do if you are cursed for some unpleasant reason.

Too many people would use the ability to break magic to hurt the caster for no reason.

i do not think this was put upon me for a good reason. i would break it, and i do not care what the intentions of the being that placed it upon me were.

i cannot defend myself against what has already been done.

i use magic and i know how it works. i wish only to learn how others do their craft.

That's fair.

Mages from home cast with their spirits and their energy. Knowing the make-up of a spell and weaving it together are the first steps, but if you lack the energy and conviction to execute them, then you'll get nowhere. It's not exact, but that's the best way to describe it.

You need to know how a spell cast works and what it does to counter-act it. Unfortunately, unless you're one of those mean people I mentioned, you can't 'break' magic where I'm from, simply defend against it.

i do not know of using spirits. i know only of my god, and the power i use to cast my own spells. there is nothing else in my world, but i thought i ought to learn about others.

I don't know, what is the curse? Maybe there's some way to counter it.

Being unable to die doesn't sound so bad. I'd take that part, myself.

Why can't you touch anyone, though? Are you physically incapable or is it something else?

Hey, neither am I. Unfortunately, that one just has to happen, we don't usually get a say on it.
And I won't say it's easy, but it's doable. One day, you'll find a joke that's funny to you and you'll laugh and it'll make sense to you then.
