[ they’re not kidding when they say these broadcaster things will start up the moment you start waking up. because the figure on the screen barely even shifts before it comes on, breathes for just a second or two before his eyes fly open and he’s sitting up.

because that cold chill? this bed? everything he’s seeing around him? is not right.

he surveys the room for a moment, trying to place not only himself but where that someone is watching me feeling on the back of his neck is coming from, before he turns and looks directly into the camera.

It does kind of make me want to just give you a box of random things now and before we've even exchanged names. I feel like this is off to a good start.

[That gets a laugh from her too.] At some point my boyfriend might question how friendly I really need to be greeting people.

[The mention of Falcons along with his name jogs a memory.] Do you know Vision?

I'm just saying- you want a show, we're going to have to step up the initial greetings.

[ it's all pretty harmless at this point anyway.

the mention of vision has his eyebrows shooting up, though. ]

Sounds like the guy. Though he did make me breakfast one morning. Best social cue there is. He's the captain of the ship I'm on. He's mentioned you.

Yeah, I know him. Vision's a good guy.

[ robot? alien tech? lets stick with guy. ]

He'd be a good captain. Probably knows more about these ships than anyone else here.

He is—on all counts. [She liked him pretty instantly which isn't often her standard. Then again that's kind of how it's working for Sam here too.]
