[When the feed opens, the first thing seen is an empty bed. It's been slept in somewhat recently, you can see the mess the owner's left it in, but the owner himself is nowhere in sight--at least until someone picks the communicator up.

Congrats, folks, it's a new month and one of the first things you get to see is Jon Snow's deeply annoyed frown, framed by a shot of the--ceiling?]

And here I thought this fleet couldn't surprise me anymore. [From his exasperated tone, it's probably immediately obvious just what he thinks about this little surprise.] I hadn't been told anything like this would happen. Does it usually?

[And he turns the camera down towards his feet, which, currently, are floating a few feet off the ground. He pulls the camera back up towards his face, which is wearing an expression of utter annoyance.]

And when can I get back down?

[The feed ends right there, but curious souls can find Jon floating grumpily or trying to ineffectually steer himself along the corridors of the Three Twins! Looks like he's just gotten his first taste of an augment malfunction, and it's just made him immune to the ship's gravity drive.

What a lucky bastard.]

Hey, it could happen. I've seen stranger.

It seems like we've been having more strange in the fleet than usual lately too.

So have I, but none of it involved suddenly being able to fly. [Or--float, as the case may be. He wishes Sam were here, Sam would probably like this better than he does.]

What sort of strange are you speaking of? [A pause.] Besides this, [he adds, gesturing vaguely to himself. He's now spinning slowly around his room.]

A friend of mine is suddenly a woman. Not his normal look. And a saw a couple of people reduced in age to children again. Another person was turned into a different species for a day. [That was a little while before the rest of this, but it's starting to escalate and add up now.]

I knew about people suddenly being children again, it happened to a friend of mine, [and boy does he kind of miss the older Ahsoka] but not about the rest of it. That seems to be the most common malfunction.

Agreed. But it looks like there might be...more variety in store. [She doesn't think that's a good thing.]
