Oh, I know. I'm force-sensitive. We can make out what is unseen, what is hidden. Akin to the way magic behaves, I believe.

[It's the first she's heard that. But given the minimal information she has it sounds a little familiar.]

I wonder if haki would work as well.

[beardstrokes]

I'm not familiar with that term.

[namisan]

In our world, it's kind of... force of will, I guess. And you can wield it in different ways. Most of it wouldn't apply, but there's a particular application called observation haki.

[She cracks a wry smile.] Our chef practices that one. He can hear a girl scream in panic from the other side of an island, and he sees a lot more than anyone else can.

It's possible. People with heightened senses should pick up what's unseen.

I'm probably not going to be seeing him any time soon. My senses definitely aren't heightened when it comes to people.

I believe anyone can. The technology allows for that, thankfully.

That's good, at least. It can't be enjoyable if the majority of the Fleet doesn't even know he's there.

Honestly, I don't know how he manages it. I would have given up in frustration long ago.

He's probably got long years of tolerance from living with it at home. Sorey comes from the same place as far as I know, and nobody has trouble seeing him.

But yeah. I wouldn't enjoy it at all.

They're an odd combination, aren't they?

[She grins.] Actually, of the two of them, I've only met Sorey. I've been meaning to introduce myself to Mikleo, though.

I'm sure he'd like that. He seems to be closely involved with Sorey.
