Who: Everyone
Broadcast: N/A
Action: Iskaulit
When:

[So we've been stuck on the poison moon for a couple months now, so a lot of people probably want to get away from that.

Unfortunately, the only place you really can get away from it besides your own ship is the Iskaulit. So, here's a June Iskaulit mingle!]
nerdeology: (so much black stuff.....)

I haven't either... Gramps never mentioned specifics, but considering the rest of the continent was so focused on the main four elements, they must be incredibly rare.

[It wouldn't surprise him if that was the case. Gramps is old, older than anyone they know, and he's unique in a lot of ways.]
monolike: (the stranger it feeels yeah)

[personal profile] monolike 2016-08-28 07:45 am (UTC)(link)
Well there are a few of those, right? Man, I wish there was more information on seraphim! Even in all the ruins we've found, there are hardly any records...
nerdeology: (yeah he wishes.)

[personal profile] nerdeology 2016-08-28 05:04 pm (UTC)(link)
You and me both. Maybe we've spent a little too much time avoiding humans over the years.

[He's not especially keen on the idea of fading out of human memory and becoming nothing but a fairy tale. It's hard enough co-existing with only a handful of proxies between their kind.]
monolike: (it's the dopest)

[personal profile] monolike 2016-08-28 05:09 pm (UTC)(link)
With malevolence as prevalent as it is, there probably wasn't any other way. Even small villages are dangerous, right?

But that's okay. We're going to fix that. And after a few years of seraphim and humans living in the same places together, humans will start developing resonance again.

Well, you're certainly stubborn enough to make things change, one way or another.

[It's such a ridiculously daunting task, and dealing with Heldalf will be hard enough as it is. But hey, it is Sorey they're dealing with, and he just sort of does things whether it's plausible or not.]
monolike: (i mean jesus horatio christ)

[personal profile] monolike 2016-08-28 05:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Just me, huh? I'm the only stubborn one? [knocks mikleo's shoulder with his]
nerdeology: (no i won't tell you why)

[personal profile] nerdeology 2016-08-28 05:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Am I giving you too much credit?

[Nudge back. He can knock you down a few pegs, if you like.]
monolike: (nobody finds bein' mean dope)

[personal profile] monolike 2016-08-28 05:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Sometimes. [And it's true. Maybe it's because the seraphim see into people's hearts, but he always feels a little weird when people praise him just for being him. Though maybe 'stubborn enough to change things' isn't usually praise, it definitely is in Mikleo-speak.]
nerdeology: (it's because we make him eat healthy)

[personal profile] nerdeology 2016-08-28 05:47 pm (UTC)(link)
[People praise him when it's a welcome change from the norm. Humans in their world are kind of garbage more often than not, so the shining stars stand out.]

Well, alright then. I guess we'll all be helping here and there, since you're kind of a mess without us.
monolike: (but did you know)

[personal profile] monolike 2016-08-28 06:04 pm (UTC)(link)
That's very true. [Heck, there's a reason he built that shrine in the first place. Being without Lailah and Edna and Rose is incredibly hard, especially since a lot of the time it feels like he's the baby of the group instead of the leader.

...wait, he is, isn't he? Ah geez.]
And I don't like how the legend of the Shepard always extols everything the Shepard did without even mentioning the squires or seraphim. Would you change that with your book, Mikleo? Make sure even hundreds of years from now, people know that the Shepard couldn't do anything without everyone else?
nerdeology: (i'm fine i didn't trip)

[personal profile] nerdeology 2016-08-28 06:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, trust me, I'm going to tell it like it is. I won't spare a single detail.

[Just think of all the terrible stories he could tell about your childhood shenanigans, Sorey.]
monolike: (was not was not)

[personal profile] monolike 2016-08-28 11:00 pm (UTC)(link)
...that sounds awfully mischievous, Lord Mikleo. Couldn't you just write a mildly flattering book that's kind to all of us?
nerdeology: (water is my speciality)

[personal profile] nerdeology 2016-08-29 01:18 am (UTC)(link)
That would be deceptive. Didn't you hear Lailah say that lying to yourself and others can generate malevolence? Honesty is always better.
monolike: (where is my oscar)

[personal profile] monolike 2016-08-29 05:22 am (UTC)(link)
So are you going to write about that one time you got stuck upside-down in that tree and your shirt flipped up over your head, and you cried because everybody could see your belly button?
nerdeology: (NOT ABOUT THAT)

[personal profile] nerdeology 2016-08-29 06:30 am (UTC)(link)
[!!!]

Of course not! That's not relevant to the Shepherd's journey!
monolike: (theeeeere used to be a greying tower)

[personal profile] monolike 2016-08-29 03:37 pm (UTC)(link)
That was a very informative moment for me growing up I'll have you know.

I felt so bad for you. I couldn't even help you get down and you were so upset afterwards.
nerdeology: (OH MY GOD THAT'S UNFAIR)

[personal profile] nerdeology 2016-08-29 05:17 pm (UTC)(link)
Of course I was upset! Seraphim aren't even born in the first place, we don't need one! I probably only have it because of you!

[He's not quite sure about the logic of that one, but whatever. All the seraphim in Elysia had humanisms rubbed off on them one way or another.]
monolike: (was not was not)

[personal profile] monolike 2016-08-29 05:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Are you blaming your belly button on me? Mikleo.
nerdeology: (but lives are so fleeting)

[personal profile] nerdeology 2016-08-29 06:07 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm sure it has something to do with you.

[He is sticking by his guns.]
monolike: (was not was not)

[personal profile] monolike 2016-08-29 07:01 pm (UTC)(link)
That is a ridiculous accusation and I won't hear it.
nerdeology: (go ask him then)

[personal profile] nerdeology 2016-08-29 09:04 pm (UTC)(link)
If you expect me to tell that story, then I'm writing that part into my book.
monolike: (where is my oscar)

[personal profile] monolike 2016-08-31 05:54 am (UTC)(link)
Ohhh, speaking of finishing up literary works, I still haven't completed my epic poem. Want to help me finish it?
nerdeology: (you caught me.)

[personal profile] nerdeology 2016-09-01 03:39 am (UTC)(link)
[Wow, he really must've gotten stuck on that dumb "silver" line]

Are you sure you want me to contribute? I might stifle that unique creativity of yours.

[his poetry would be nowhere near as cheesy, dude.]
monolike: (SHOUNEN ARM TAP)

[personal profile] monolike 2016-09-01 05:45 am (UTC)(link)
I will persevere. [it will still be cheesy]
nerdeology: by <user name=earthenring> (i like to remind him that i'm useful.)

[personal profile] nerdeology 2016-09-01 07:37 am (UTC)(link)
Then I suppose it is my duty as sub lord to assist you.

[What a weirdly inconsistent poem this'll be.]
