[Sokka can be found in the captain's chair in the Blue Fish, where he's been sulking since he realised his ship is missing a very important person from the crew.]

For anyone who knows her, Katara's gone home. Things are...better back there, so she's gone back to something good at least. Jilly's gone too, she was a great cook :(

[They're going back to their tribe. To see how bad things are there. So some of that is a lie.]

But in other news, Azula's ALSO gone home, so the Blue Fish lockdown is done. People from other ships are freee to visit as they like. I'm keeping the locks for now- just in case- but they're not active right now. So the Blood Drive can come back to here as its base. Yay.

I'll make my way to you. We've got about six billion shuttles, might as well get some use out of them.

Waving enthusiastically at Sokka when he spots him after getting off his shuttle.]

Is it a secret mission?! [Either way by the tone of his voice Vash is full of enthusiasm for just about anything.]

[He grins, nodding and putting a finger to his lips. ]

The MOST secret of missions. Something of a mission of mercy.

[Vash grins and drops his voice into a low, 'secret' whisper.] A secret mission of mercy? How could I say no?

We gotta get on the Iskaulit. If we're gonna find it, it's gonna be there.

Well then, what are we waiting for? Let's get going right away! And what are we looking for anyway?

[Sokka lowers his voice as they head towards the shuttles. ]

A special present for one of my crew. Something to make her very, very happy.

[Dutifully Vash falls in step by Sokka towards the shuttles.] Yeah? Sounds great. I'm always in for making people happy.

I thought you might say that! [And once they're in and the door is shut. ] I want to see if I can find a lemon tree in the greenhouse there. For Sansa.

Lemons grow on trees? Like apples? [He seems excited to learn this. Nature is so cool.]

They sure do! And Sansa loves lemon cakes. Ergo, we need to get lemons to make the cakes.

Good point! Let's go see if we can find a lemon tree!

Do you think if we find one it will fit in the ship?

Prooobably not, buuut I'm looking for the fruit more than anything right now. A lemon is a fruit right? Or is it a vegetable???

ANYway, if we find one, we can work on manoeuvring it once I get a greenhouse fixed up on the Blue Fish. Baby steps, yaknow?

Aren't vegetables green? I think they're suppose to have green on them.

And yeah, I gotcha! Besides even if the tree is on the other ship it's still there for when there is a need for lemons!

But what about tomatoes? They're vegetables and they're red!

It sure is. And if I can get some lemons today, I consider that a score.

But they have seeds. Fruits have seeds. [The never ending debate.]

Fingers crossed then. As I'm not sure you'd find lemons at these stations we pass by. Not good ones at least.

Oh. But are there vegetables that have seeds too?

[This is such a debate for non-meat, gosh.]

Prooobably not. We can but hope, though.

See, now I'm confused. Is a cucumber a vegetable or a fruit. It has seeds, but it's also green.

Some of the kitchens I've worked in would use lemon juice. I wonder if we can find some of that at least.

I think it's a vegetable because it tastes gross.

[Yes, this is estimation of what counts as a vegetable. 'Tastes gross'. ]

That'd be great. I mean, it's be a start, anyway. I'm not actually sure how you make a lemon cake...if you need actual lemons or if you just pour juice in it.
