One doesn't simply hop into someone's bed while their sleeping and/or naked, because the results in getting kicked in the face. And yelled at a whole lot. No...what one should do is knock first!

...And then hop into their bed while they're asleep.

Lesson. Totally. Learned.

But really let's face it, this guy is an idiot and he most certainly is going to meander around over the course of the month and find those nice, comfy warm beds of yours, Fleeters. SO TRY NOT TO SMACK HIM TOO HARD, he could become even more dumb if you do.

At least he does this with the best intentions right? ]

Honestly, it sounds a little like blood magic. You're not dabbling in that, are you? It usually leads to bad things.

...You can do magic with blood??? [ Nope, pretty safe to say he has not been dabbling in blood magic. More than likely he'd lick all the blood and forget the magic entirely if given the chance to try it. Also: not a fan of cutting himself. ]

Is that why you asked if Pounce would like monsters? Is that what you think you are?

....Yeah? [ Back home he would be considered one for sure. But also animals in general can't handle being around him; they can tell what he really is in a way humans can't, and it kicks them into flight mode. ]

Ah, well, suit yourself, but you're hardly monstrous to me. I fight and kill scary monster things for a living these days, you don't make the cut, sorry.

[He shrugs lightly so as not to jostle Sascha who seemed very intent on this position of theirs, but his voice was cheery.]

Really?? [ Colour Sascha double-surprised then, curling his hands into tiny little fists against Anders's front. ] Pounce must be super-brave...

Not that I mind overly much, but you're a very cozy-type person, aren't you? I don't think I know anyone who's as upfront with their physical affection. Some animals, though!

[ Not one bit. In fact Sascha's quite happy for it, since he never gets to be around them. They're terrified of him :c ]

How about this: let's move to one of the beds, at least we can both sit on that.

[Maybe he could share some of his magic since it seemed sharing what Sascha was was a big deal to him.]

--Really?? [ Sascha looks surprised, but happily so. Beds and being next to people are his favourite thing. He's quick to nod, letting go of his hold round the other's shoulders. ] Okay! Um--thanks!

[Whoops that sure is what that sounded like.

Anders looks a little confused for a moment, why wouldn't that be okay? It sounded normal to him. But he doesn't question it out loud, simply moves to one of the beds the clinic had to offer, leaving room for Sascha to sit next to him.]

How do you feel about magic?

[A loaded question back in Thedas, and it still makes him a little nervous, but it's quickly becoming apparent that people's attitudes towards magic are not the same up here as what he's used to.]

[ Sascha takes a seat besides him with probably a little too much pleasure in his eyes, but then he usually doesn't get invited to sit with people all that often and he's excited. And hey, bonus--he doesn't look immediately scandalized upon the mention of magic. In fact, he just looks curious as he blinks a little and tilts his head. ]

Like...with cards and stuff?

[ Because magic as Anders knows it doesn't exist in his world. ]

[That is a bonus and one Anders takes as a sign to go out on a limb anyway. He supposed, it was hard to hate magic and those who used it if your world lacked it.]

No, like real magic. Like...

[He opens his hand palm-up and it begins to glow white. The glow morphs into a ball in the center of his palm which hovers over Anders' skin.]

[ And, suitably? Sascha is beyond amazed as he stares at it--and then immediately covers his eyes, even with his stupid UV shades on. ]

Wow--ow! Haha, that's super-bright!

[He clenches his hand into a fist and snuffs the forming spirit bolt out.]

Sorry, I didn't really think about it.

I show you something else, but I was never particularly good with ice magic and both fire and lightning are bright.

[He was just better at healing, but it's not like Sascha had ever seen that part, he didn't need it.]

No no, it's okay~ My eyes are just super-bad when it comes to seeing light! That's why I wear these glasses all the time. [ Sascha slowly pulls his hands away and grins, pointing to his face. ] I've gone blind tooons of times before, don't worry.

[ ...YEAH, DON'T WORRY ABOUT THAT ANDERS. ]

I guess it's not the same for you, but that's fairly alarming to me, personally! I know you said you heal quickly, but you can heal that much? Even I can't heal blindness if the damage has lingered too long on the eyes.

Is that a 'vampire' thing?

Um...yeah, sorta. If you eat well and stay healthy you can heal from a lotta stuff when you're a vampire. [ But sun-blindness generally tends to take the upwards of a week, where with Sascha it's just a few hours. ]
