Dear Diary -> Today I woke up on a spaceship...
Who: Ringo Oginome
Broadcast: Video -> To All
Action: SS Marsiva
When: Late in the day, 02/03
[when the feed crackles to life, a girls face is on the other end. It's rather big, as has her face close to the camera. She pauses to look over her shoulder before she starts talking. She looks tense, but not worried. She's not scared per say, but she has the look of someone who is expecting a threat at any moment. Satisfied with whatever she sees, she looks directly at the camera again]
So, where are we this time? Looks like a space ship, which is definitely different for Yao. [she can't help the unconscious look of disgust that crosses her face at that name] And if anyone hasn't noticed, they put something in us this time. [she frowns deeply, and her free hand rubs the bulge of her implant]
We should probably pick a room and set up fortifications or something. Who knows when they'll decide to unleash the blood sucking aliens, or whatever they have planned for us.
[she pauses... When she briefly looked over the network, no one was talking about Haven, or getting ready, or anything. Memory loss? It happened before, maybe it was their latest way to get them to turn on each other. If that was the case, she had to find the others who knew what was going on, and this seemed like the most direct way. Too bad all of her assumptions are completely wrong, but she'll probably be told that soon...]
And if anyone actually remembers 'Haven', you'd better reply. We need to be ready.

What's Haven?

Either you'll find out soon enough, or it won't matter. [for this guy's sake she hopes he's a hologram or clone or something]

Haven was a city that got destroyed by this crazy organization. Now it's just a ruin where people are brought to be guinea pigs.
no subject
[His eyebrows lift and he looks intrigued. A crazy organization, huh?]
Yeah, crazy organizations are good for stuff like that. Haven't seen anything like that so far here, though.
no subject
It's not that I don't believe you, if anything I believe that you believe what you believe. [she pauses. ugh that sentence made no sense. Whatever]
But here's how things normally work. Everyone wakes up and things are changed. Things seem okay, maybe even better for a little while, but then something horrible happens and it all goes to shit. Then at the end of the day, we're back in the apartments, a few people are probably dead, and no one's happy.
[she tries to make her voice sound cavalier, but she's obviously scaring herself saying it out loud]
no subject
Well that sounds... really awful, actually. I guess crazy evil organizations are the same no matter where they are. Nothing irreparably horrible's happened while I've been here, at least, so I guess we're doing all right so far.
[Robin was kind of dead, but he got better.]

[and while she doesn't look... comforted by his words, exactly, it at least draws her out of her own head and imagination.]
How long have you been here?
no subject
Name's Axel, how about you?
no subject
Ringo Oginome. [...] Do you not have a last name?
no subject
Ringo, huh? Like the guy from the Beatles? [And then he presses his lips together in thought.] Never really needed to use a family name, doing what I do. Axel's enough.
no subject
So, what do you do?

[so there are 'captains' here, huh? She'll keep an eye on him, maybe people are being singled out for a purpose]
no subject
Maybe you're right. Here's hoping we don't wind up in a situation like that, 'cuz I'm pretty sure most of the captains don't have any military experience.
