Dear Diary -> Today I woke up on a spaceship...
Who: Ringo Oginome
Broadcast: Video -> To All
Action: SS Marsiva
When: Late in the day, 02/03
[when the feed crackles to life, a girls face is on the other end. It's rather big, as has her face close to the camera. She pauses to look over her shoulder before she starts talking. She looks tense, but not worried. She's not scared per say, but she has the look of someone who is expecting a threat at any moment. Satisfied with whatever she sees, she looks directly at the camera again]
So, where are we this time? Looks like a space ship, which is definitely different for Yao. [she can't help the unconscious look of disgust that crosses her face at that name] And if anyone hasn't noticed, they put something in us this time. [she frowns deeply, and her free hand rubs the bulge of her implant]
We should probably pick a room and set up fortifications or something. Who knows when they'll decide to unleash the blood sucking aliens, or whatever they have planned for us.
[she pauses... When she briefly looked over the network, no one was talking about Haven, or getting ready, or anything. Memory loss? It happened before, maybe it was their latest way to get them to turn on each other. If that was the case, she had to find the others who knew what was going on, and this seemed like the most direct way. Too bad all of her assumptions are completely wrong, but she'll probably be told that soon...]
And if anyone actually remembers 'Haven', you'd better reply. We need to be ready.

I don't remember Haven. Do I still get to reply?

Sure, you can talk if you want. But you probably won't say anything important.

What's Haven?

Either you'll find out soon enough, or it won't matter. [for this guy's sake she hopes he's a hologram or clone or something]

Haven was a city that got destroyed by this crazy organization. Now it's just a ruin where people are brought to be guinea pigs.
no subject
[His eyebrows lift and he looks intrigued. A crazy organization, huh?]
Yeah, crazy organizations are good for stuff like that. Haven't seen anything like that so far here, though.

I have a feeling this isn't going to end the way you think it will.
video
This isn't my first time to the rodeo, you know.
video
[which he means very genuinely!]
video
So then, what did you mean?
video
I mean that I'm very sure this is not going to turn out to be what you think it is. I mean, there may be blood-sucking aliens somewhere, but after that... You're going to realize you're actually part of another project entirely, now.

[he turns the video feed on a moment later, so a picture joins the voice. a rather absurdly pretty man with lavender eyes, smirking from the screen]
Do we have another veteran in our midst?
video;
'Veteran' is a weird way to refer to it.
video;
Is this 'haven' referring to where you were last, right before finding yourself here?
video;
But there's no way that she's anywhere else. As the though processes solidifies she juts her chin up slightly, as if defying his words]
You'll see in a week.

Tell me-- are you much of a gambler?
