Dear Diary -> Today I woke up on a spaceship...
Who: Ringo Oginome
Broadcast: Video -> To All
Action: SS Marsiva
When: Late in the day, 02/03
[when the feed crackles to life, a girls face is on the other end. It's rather big, as has her face close to the camera. She pauses to look over her shoulder before she starts talking. She looks tense, but not worried. She's not scared per say, but she has the look of someone who is expecting a threat at any moment. Satisfied with whatever she sees, she looks directly at the camera again]
So, where are we this time? Looks like a space ship, which is definitely different for Yao. [she can't help the unconscious look of disgust that crosses her face at that name] And if anyone hasn't noticed, they put something in us this time. [she frowns deeply, and her free hand rubs the bulge of her implant]
We should probably pick a room and set up fortifications or something. Who knows when they'll decide to unleash the blood sucking aliens, or whatever they have planned for us.
[she pauses... When she briefly looked over the network, no one was talking about Haven, or getting ready, or anything. Memory loss? It happened before, maybe it was their latest way to get them to turn on each other. If that was the case, she had to find the others who knew what was going on, and this seemed like the most direct way. Too bad all of her assumptions are completely wrong, but she'll probably be told that soon...]
And if anyone actually remembers 'Haven', you'd better reply. We need to be ready.

Well, except for the clothes I'm wearing. But you're probably some kind of weirdo if you wanted that. [since everything she's wearing looks really... worn, ragged and pretty gross]
video;
but as it is, he just shrugs.]
What about a drink?
video;
Okay, fine. If we're still here and this really isn't Haven, I'll go find a drink for you somewhere. [maybe there's a Haven North equivalent here where she can scavenge up a bottle of something that's not too old and dusty] And if we get back to Haven, you have to find me curry.
[a nigh impossible task, but whatever. This bet is dumb anyway in her mind]
video;
[and he'll get to gloat, which is one of his favorite things in the world.]
I'm Tek, by the way.
video;
I'm Ringo. [she tilts her head, a bit curious. Any information she can gather about this illusion might be helpful] So, what's life like 'here'?
video;
We're all trapped in little ships, hurtling as a group through the emptiness of space while being subjected to inexplicable little trials, and it's all for the invisible audience that is supposedly watching our every move.
[that pretty much sums it up.]
video;
video;
That's when this all started, you see. I think we're all still struggling to adapt.
video;
How so? Four months sounds like a lot of time to settle in somewhere.
video;
video;
video;
Some of us function on much different frames of time.
video;
Wow, are you always this cryptic?
video;
I could speak slowly, or use smaller words.
video;
I-I'm not saying that I don't understand it! But there could be a lot of interpretations.
video;
Here, I'll help you catch up--
A few months does seem like a long time to young people.
...But, for the rest of us, it's not like that at all.
video;
video;
[shut the hell up, Tek, you're like 870 years old.]
...I'm sure that I'm older than you, at any rate.
video;
Whatever, I get the point. Good luck... getting used to it as it goes on? [not that it will go on, she's still really convinced of that]
video;
And I'll see you in a week.
[or whenever he remembers, but the point still stands. she's totally going to owe him a drink.]
video;
SHE'LL FIND SOMETHING... AND BE REALLY A BUT ABOUT IT B(]
