"Wrath Platoon?" So it is not your birth name? The name your parents gave you?

Um... I guess? I don't have any other name. At least not that I can remember. So I'm just Wrath. Or Lieutenant Wrath if it's formal, but it's not.

So maybe that kind of makes Wrath my first name and Lieutenant my last name! [Wrath, no.]

You seem... awfully carefree to have been a lieutenant in the military.

[Pardon Wanda. Her only previous experience with military personnel has been with Hydra and SHIELD, and well... yeah, they're not nearly this bubbly.]

Well I'm not on duty right now and we're not on a firing line. It's okay to have feelings when you're not under live fire. [Bright smile.]

[That gets an eyebrow raise from Wanda. Yet, she definitely doesn't get the feeling that Wrath is joking exactly either. She was certainly an intriguing person.]

I suppose you have a point there.

[While Wanda has never exactly been in the military herself, she has been in enough combat situations by now to know how differently everyone behaves in those situations when life and death are on the line.]

This is a really easy gig anyway. [It barely qualifies as work in her opinion.] Though I take my duties seriously anyway.

Your first mate duties? And what duties does Captain Vision assign to his first mate?

[She gives Wrath a wry smile.]

Ship discipline is my responsibility, and so is morale. The crew makes it really easy on me. And then I back up the captain on whatever he needs. Ship security duties take up a lot more time than anything I have to do as first mate.

How is Vision? As a captain?

He's the easiest C.O. I've ever had. Like. He's super lax on discipline, which is okay because we have such a good crew. But that means he's the softie so I'm the hardass, and I'm okay with that. But he's really good at the diplomacy stuff and taking care of crew morale.

[Wanda smiles knowingly, nodding her head.]

That sounds like Viz.

I'm glad to hear he has such a reliable first mate to help him out where he needs it.

Well, I try to do a good job. But he makes it easy on me. [Grin. Complimenting her ability to work is the thing that makes Wrath the happiest of all.]

I've only had to be the hammer for him once so far, but it's worked out. Easy mode.

[A small grin from Wanda on that. She's quiet for a moment, appears to be thinking about something, before she speaks again.]

Keep an eye on him for me? Viz can handle himself in a fight, but... sometimes other things are difficult for him.

Oh yeah, definitely. That's my job, is to keep my CO in good shape!

[Grin.]

You like him too, huh.

[If Wanda was blushing before, her face is bright red at that. She looks down and away, trying very poorly to hide the fact that Wrath's words may have been more on the nose than even Wanda had thought.]

He- he is a friend.

[A pause, the blushing not subsiding, before Wanda quietly adds:]

He saved my life.

None of that's mutually exclusive.

[She might be teasing a little.]

For serious, I'm glad you guys are good friends.

[Wanda doesn't trust herself to speak anymore. Instead, she merely nods her head. Her face still bright red.]

Are you okay? Like I'm not really good at talking to people sometimes.

["No kidding." Wanda thinks it, but she doesn't say it out loud.]

I'm fine. I just have a lot to think about.
