[The communication device appeared simple enough for his purposes. It took him a moment or two to determine how it functioned. It was rather primitive, really.

His appearance was composed, his expression almost completely neutral when he switched on the transmission. He would present the appearance of strength despite the situation he found himself in.]

This is General Hux. Members of the First Order identify yourselves to me immediately.

[Straight to business. There was going to be no small talk.]

I seek answers as to where I am and why I was brought here. I assume there is some purpose to this.

[And with that the feed is cut. He is going to be exploring around Marsiva to find out where exactly he is.]

I do not ask for an acknowledge of rank but I do expect available information. I take it you have none to provide then.

You are aboard a ship. Soon, you will be taken to another where you must serve a specific role. (His tone is oh so flat.) You should have an Augment on your body.

[That's pretty much the story of his life and nothing new. He can do that.]

What is this Augment? [He had noticed the lump but one thing at a time.]

It will give you instructions as to your...role. For example, I know of weapons that do not exist in my world.

Interesting. [He's going to have to sort through this. There is something...there but it's something to ponder on.]

What weapons are available here?

[Even if it's basic, he knows he'll need something like a good blaster in the near future.]

Guns. I know their basic make-up - how to clean and load them - but I have more to learn. (He is far more accustomed to swords, bows and daggers.)

[Hux can only stare for a moment. How does someone not know how to use a gun?]

[It boggles his mind, especially given he grew up the son of an Imperial officer with the remains of the Imperial fleet as his home.]

Elves fight with swords, bows and daggers. We have no use for weapons that cause such a mess.

[Elves? He's just as unimpressed.]

What star system are you from? I've never heard of such a race.

I do not know my...star system. (What even?) I am from Arda.

It seems your world has not yet progressed that far then.

[Elves. He's never heard of them but already he's not impressed in the least.]

(Don't be so quick to judge, space man. If you think the Force is impressive, see an Elf with sharp, precise instincts.)

The stars belong to the Valar.

[So...Elves=Jedi? Not exactly a point in their favor.]

And what are these Valar?

(Maedhros would qualify more as a failed Sith.)

Those names are not familiar to me.

[He had access to the Imperial resources growing up so he knew many planets, systems and moons but these names were so foreign.]

We hail from different worlds. (Different universes!) That does not surprise me.

So it seems. In your world you worship stars, in my world we are able to harness their energy.

[And destroy them.]

[Hux didn't really understand that question. He knew what he did in using up the energy from two stars and he didn't regret it.

Also Star Destroyers are pretty awesome.]

And what burden would that be?

Every action has a consequence. Have you considered the consequences you have amassed?

Doing what is necessary is worth the consequences then.
