1970s Earth. Very much before all of this or any kind of holographic technology.

1970s... I honestly don't know much about the age save what was recorded by some of the scholars before the Chaos Calamity. Earth was in the year 3414 A.D. before I arrived here.

[He nods as he speaks, wondering idly what year it is now, on this ship's Earth. If there is one left, even.]

I doubt you'd be the only one from the future.

[ Though perhaps the only one that far into the future. Except maybe Wrath, but Earth doesn't seem to feature much in Wrath's memories. ]

Certainly not; I spoke briefly with another who had a notable event happen in their world in the year 2000, as well. I'm not sure when he's from.

[He's gleaned quite a lot of bits and pieces, being here. Of course, it's easy enough for him to relegate it to experiences in other 'games' back home, but that's immaterial.]

But you are . . . from Earth, correct? A more advanced Earth?

Yes. My home remains on Earth; after the Chaos Calamity, much of the world's interest in finding a new planet to live on was set aside for simply... trying to live on what we had created.

[And thrive on it, if Fox's memories are to be believed. It's a very different world, but it's Earth nonetheless.]
