I'm sure they're perfect for you, then.

[ Just like hers are with Hank. It's just being able to be together that means something, she thinks; the fact that they can spend time together, just the two of them. Maybe it's the same for Charles and Erik. ]

We've both tired of looking for something perfect. It's ours, it's not broken . . . it's enough.

There's no such thing as perfect anyway.

[ Shifting, Raven tilts her head to look at him before she breathes out. ]

... I'm glad you're together - that you're happy. I know it was strange for me, at first, but... I really am happy for you, Charles.

[ He glances away, a flicker of guilt. ]

I know that - I mean - we never planned for . . .

Charles. Don't.

[ She nudges him gently. ]

I'm happy. I'm glad you figured things out and, really, you were crazy about him before. I should've guessed.

I -- What? No I was not.

I'm not saying it's bad thing. I've always been crazy for Hank, so we're even.

Well, yes, I suppose . . .

[ BUT IT'S TOTALLY DIFFERENT?? ]

[ At least she didn't run into a Russian base after Hank. Or almost drown. Or break him out of prison. Or - ]

I'm just... Glad we're together. That's all. I'm happy.

[ She says it shyly, trying to hide her face. ]

[ It's an ongoing list. But Charles softens all the same. ]

[ And she leans up to kiss his cheek. ]

[ Cheater. ]

Good.

[ There's a small part of her that worries that she might lose this somehow, but she smothers that. Here and now is her and Charles, and that's what matters. Him loving her as much as he always has is what matters. ]

I missed this.

[ Saying he did too would be a moot point. Charles had made it clear that he had missed Raven. Still, he nods to acknowledge the point. ]

Not everything has to change.

No. I think we can keep this.

[ Smiling, she reaches, grabbing at his hand. ]

I'm not letting this go ever again.

[ He clasps it in response, not trusting himself to speak. ]
