[When moving down the halls, one would have to look before they went from room to room. Korra can be found zooming down and around corners as she explores, laughing as she goes. The ship was on autopilot for now, which is probably good for everyone. Even with the augment, Korra still felt as if it would be far too easy to crash the ship. Asami taught her to drive a car but an airship was another story.]

Woo hoo!! [Excuse her while she goes zooming by you on her air scooter, maybe sending papers flying.]

[Papers were right- Jennifer had been sitting at the kitchen table writing down some ideas and observations in a notebook when there was a sudden whoosh of air, tearing a few pages out of it. She looked to see where it had come from and... was that someone sitting on a spinning sphere of air?]

Wh...

[lightbends]

[Korra luckily saw the papers and immediately slows down some ways down the hall, leaping off of her air scooter and jogging back.]

Sorry! Let me help.

[Yep. Least she can do since she's the one that did it.]

I wasn't paying attention.

Hey, no worries! [Jennifer bent down to scoop up one of the fluttering pages.] Finally getting out of the Marsiva is pretty exciting. I'm Jennifer.

[lightbends]

Yeah it really is! Everything here is so cool! Except the flying thing. I don't think I'm a very good pilot.

[Which is why the ship is on auto pilot right now because who in their right mind let her drive???]

Got an unsuitable augment, huh? I'm sure you'll learn, though. And in the meantime, I'm here to patch us up if we get in any accidents. [This was said with a big wink.]

Yeah, I mean it's not all bad? Someone I know back home builds ships like these and she taught me how to drive a car so I figure this can't be that much different.

Oh, that's good. If you were entirely unfamiliar, it would be a lot harder.

[Jennifer smiled, hoping this was the case. She'd never tried to fly the ship herself, so she had no real idea.]

And it's nice, isn't it? We all try to help each other out, since goodness knows Atroma's not overeager to give us any assistance.

Yeah, I think I kind of like it here. Even though I miss home.

[There's a lot to be homesick for too. She also wishes she could figure out how things panned out with Kuvira.]

Yeah... I get you there. I've been stuck here for over a year.

[lightbends]

Over a year?! I-I can't stay here that long! What about my friends and my family?

[Oh man... this is not good.]

[There aren't any papers to go flying, but Korra narrowly misses mowing down a winged blond kid in sunglasses. The white fox at his heels yips with excitement and promptly chases after her; Davesprite, for his part, swears and turns back around because it's fallen upon him to keep track of the creature.]

Hey, watch your tail!

[He calls that after them, although it's hard to tell if he's talking to Korra or the fox. His icons are also mostly bullshit, because he isn't orange anymore and has legs, but what can you do.]

[Giggling can be heard as Korra stops, upon the fox immediately coming into her path. She scoops it up to eye level and walks brusquely back to the fox's owner. He was giving her kisses and she was totally in love with it. It made her miss Naga.]

Sorry about that. Is he yours?

[Where can she get one???]

[Oh my god, this fox is the most excited fox. Davesprite slows down and stops, a little relieved Korra doesn't hate the critter.]

Uh, yeah, I guess he's under joint ownership of me and a friend. [He reaches out to scritch the fox between the ears, but doesn't take him from Korra.]

His name's Newton. [Newton just looks way too happy for Davesprite to try taking him from Korra, tbh.]

Well he's great! I didn't know we could have pets here.

[Again - missing Naga!! :(]

[Commence countdown to when there's a polar bear dog in the fleet.]

Yeah, I think a lot of people have fish and stuff, as far as pets go; maybe a couple of cats, and the foxes, obviously. I think I saw a dog once?

[He shrugs a little, motion mimicked by his wings.]

But seriously, he'll play fetch with anything if you let him. You might, uh, wanna keep anything important off the ground, 'cause he'll chew it.

[lightbends]

Aw... you just want to play, don't you?

[She does not mind chewed things or slobber. Naga was the same as a puppy. Excuse her while she dotes on your fox some more before handing him back.]

I don't mind. Naga - my polar bear dog - chewed my stuff all the time when she was younger. She goes through balls a lot too.

[feathery]

[And now Davesprite has an armful of overexcited fox, which promptly begins snuffling through his feathers.]

Man, no wonder you're good with this fuzzball. [Davesprite's pet experience can be summed up as letting crows fly in and out of his room when he was a kid. Actually caring for a fox in the wake of Jade leaving has proven to be a serious learning experience.]

Is a polar bear dog a dog the size of a polar bear? Trying to figure out what I'm supposed to be imagining there, 'cause I thought you were gonna say you had a straight-up bear at first.

Yeah, she's a little bit bigger, with floppy ears and a dog snout and tail. Think just - a giant dog. That's Naga.

[She smiles a bit, wishing she could actually show him Naga in person.]

[His eyebrows arch a little as he imagines this, because holy hell that is a Big Dog.]

Yeah, sounds a little more intensive than Newt here. Even at his neediest. [Said with dry humor as he lets the squirmy critter down, where Newton immediately begins to gnaw on a feather he pulled loose.]

You're good on the infodump, right? I mean if nothing else, the sweet joyride has you looking way more collected than some of the folks who have passed through.

[Yup. Naga is her big baby. That is true.]

Oh, yeah I'm good. Still trying to figure out the piloting thing, though. It's one thing to be told how to do it but another to be good at it, you know?

[Luckily she hasn't killed the crew yet. :)]

[ Isaac has just gotten up from a nap, and so he doesn't expect a lot of traffic in the halls. The Wonderduck is pretty quiet, usually, but he's nearly bowled over by Korra when she blasts by. But how did she go soaring by like that? ]

Whoa. Hey! [ And after he shakes himself awake? Korra might find a teenager running after her, and gaining some ground. It pays to be a fast werewolf. ]

[lightbends]

[Oh ho. A challenger? Excuse her while she just speeds up her scooter, giving him a mischievous grin.]

Gonna have to be faster than that!

[He probably could. Sorry to anyone they run over?]

[ God, there is nothing to do around this place and a good challenge? He can't pass it up. So when she speeds up, he does, too. He's likely not going to be as fast as her but he can try to keep up. It's exciting, at least. ]

Doesn't mean I can't catch you, though!

[ And it's true, because once they reach a section of the ship with high enough ceilings? He's gonna attempt to jump over her and cut her off. He might just get run over instead, though.]

[Almost immediately after he tries to jump up above her she moves to the nearest wall, hovering on her air scooter as she goes. For a moment it seems as if Isaac is in the lead before there's a telltale glow in her eyes. Raava was more than happy to lend a hand now and again.]
