[At long last, the fleet has arrived to a new planet. This means it's time for a mingle guys! Get in! ]

Me too. I think it'll be good for the fleet.

I'm thinking of taking Sokka hunting. He's been down since Katara left. But hunting might cheer him up! And I could collect plant samples too.

That's a good idea. Something to get his mind off things, at least for a little while. I always find that doing something active helps me a lot, when I'm missing someone or feeling too homesick.

Yeah...that's how I feel.

[He glances over at her]

Not...great.

[No point in sugar coating. She smiles sadly.]

He would have liked it here.

I'm sorry. I wish he had stayed longer.

I do too, selfish as it is.

[She picks at her roll.]

We knew this was probably going to happen, that one or the other of us would go home, leaving the other one behind, so we said goodbye while we had the chance but... It's still too soon. I guess it always would be though.

I don't think it's selfish to miss someone. It's normal.

[Sure, actively trying to bring them back or resurrecting the dead? That's selfish. But missing is normal]

Ah...saying goodbye when you had the chance is a good idea. [Maybe it'd help a lot of people] Any regrets?

None at all. [There's no hesitation in her answer whatsoever.] The only thing I would have regretted is not taking that leap of faith with him in the first place.

Good point. [He can't help but smile. Yeaaaah you go Crusher you go. It's a bit comforting as an Exorcist, since it seems pretty clear he won't have to worry about her] You two did have a pretty good leap too!

[No, he doesn't have to worry. Though she might fight it every step of the way there, in the end, Beverly knows how to come to terms with the loss of a loved one. And at least this time, she is reasonably confident that Daneel is safe.

She laughs softly, though it would not take much to make her cry either.]

[He smiles at her and there's a pause, before he moves onto the next subject to keep her from getting too down]

Hey, after lunch- I found a nice medicine shop up in the trees. Full of herbs and other natural things. Maybe there's something there you can grow in the garden.

Oh! That sounds interesting, thank you, I'd be happy to join you.

[Up in the trees. Why does it have to be up? But she's fine! It's fine! Nothing to see here, Allen! Just...]

About how far up is it?

Oh, it's not too far up! I think it's about the third or fourth level of tree houses?

[Okay, that's not too bad. As long as they don't have to go over one of those swinging bridges, she can handle this.]

All right. I'm almost done here, so as soon as you finish your sandwich we can head out?

Sure! I'll be done soon! [And there he goes, practically inhaling his food]

[So much for a stalling tactic. Beverly finishes the rest of her roll but she finds she doesn't really have the appetite for the rest of her food just now so once he finishes, she abruptly stands, smile plastered on. This is silly, really. She knows it is, she always does, and she always powers through.]

[Yeah sorry, never expect a blackhole to consume things slowly. He finishes up the food happily, crumbles up his wrapper and jumps up from his seat, moving to throw it away]
