[ winn has his own sneaky suspicions about how their next destination gets chosen, and it's not by geographical proximity. right now, he's unlikely to complain about it because there's a beach and it reminds him of home (even if he didn't really take advantage of it much back there) and they can stay off those cramped ships and get some real privacy and eat some real food!!! and this is exactly what the doctor ordered after all that fear and pain.

already, he's looking much better, the bags under his eyes gone for what feels like the first time since he woke up on the marsiva, and the weight he's been losing starting to return. his own beach attire involves a t-shirt though, because that physical insecurity isn't going anywhere, it's very comfortable here, thank you very much.
