I'm not human. [He says it plainly, and with an edge of crankiness, but it doesn't seem directed at Crowley in particular. Dezel is just terse. That's how he talks to everyone.] Most of them can't sense me at all.

You're the guy who owns a bar, right?

Well, that much is obvious.

[That's fine, Crowley can deal with cranky. He's used to cranky.]

That me. I own the much classier one. Name's Crowley.

I'm a wind seraph.

[He feels weird without his hat, so he puts it back on. There's no possible way he can see beyond it and the shaggy haircut, but it certainly makes him feel more put-together.]

Dezel. [Maybe if he was more educated in tavern-hopping he'd be able to care about the differences, but he doesn't.] Why did you open a bar? Can you even get alcohol out here?

A seraph? That...sounds like it's probably different to what I know those as, but it would explain the weird vibes I feel coming off you.

[He gives a soft scoff, folding his arms. Really? Really? ]

Because people get stressed out about being trapped on a reality TV show in space and want to drink their troubles away. And I'll have you know, you can indeed get alcohol here. You just pick up a load of it on each planet you visit.

I'm not an angel. [He says it flat out, he ain't dealing with that shit again.]

Hmph. I wouldn't know-- I don't drink.

[onlyanapple]

Well, no, obviously not. I'd know if you were an angel.

What...at all? Why?

[He sounds genuinely perplexed by that life choice. ]

You'd know, huh? Humans keep calling me one. [But they're stupid, is the silent addendum.]

Seraphim don't need to eat, so I never gave it much thought.

[He was fine just watching everyone else drink and be merry in the tavern as he lurked about the edges with Lafarga. Those were good times. Also there are certain difficulties with eating and drinking in public when one is invisible, though most people seem to pretend they aren't seeing anything odd at all.]

Well, I was one, and I spent an awful long time in the company of one, so yes, I would. [ Look, Dezel, he'll just voice that for you.] To be fair, humans struggle to understand what they are themselves half the time, so.

I don't need to eat, either, but it doesn't stop me from doing it. I find it rather pleasurable, actually. So long as you're eating or drinking something that's actually got flavour in it.

Food is good at times. [It's a good stat booster.] Cooking can be enjoyable, too.

[But something is nagging at him.]

If you used to be an angel, what are you now?

[onlyanapple]

I suppose. Not really one for cooking, myself. I never have to. I can just make it appear.

[He'll shrug his shoulders, this can go one of two ways... ]

A demon.

[Dezel looks at him again, though it's more appropriate to say he's looking around him, or maybe through him.

Like a hellion? But, really, Crowley isn't dripping with malevolence.]

You don't seem like one.

[Crowley hates it when people do that. Not many people can, which makes it all the worse when it happens. At Dezel's comment, he grimaces, folding his arms and settling into a full on pout.]

Every time?

Look. I'm a demon. Just not...a regular murdery one. Okay? I have class.

[Dezel's lip curls upward. Crowley is entertaining, if nothing else.]

It's a good thing.

[He always brings the laughs, does Crowley. ]

I suppose it's better than the alternative.
