More than a handful. [ She shakes her head. ] I learn them when I need them.

Do you have a favorite?

Language? No. English is obviously the best because it's my first, but... They're just ways of speaking.

True. I just like all the ways people can communicate. It's fascinating. We had a united language on Krypton, but I knew a few others.

[athru]

I never had time to think of it like that. [ Which is almost a shame, she thinks. ] Maybe in the future.

Why not here?

[athru]

I don't know. [ She does.

She doesn't trust this place to last. ]

I definitely don't plan on being here forever. Actually, the sooner I can get back home, the better. But I've basically resolved to enjoy myself if I'm given the chance, here.

How do you think you're going to get home, Kara?

Well, either Winn, Cisco, and Hank are going to figure out how to engineer something to open portals or something, or we'll be released at the whims of our captors.

What if the world isn't better at home?

What do you mean?

What if this place is better than the world we're from?

I wouldn't make anyone's decision for them. I'm sure that's the case for some people, absolutely, and so I wouldn't judge if people wanted to stay here. I can't, though, no matter how bad my Earth could get, I have an obligation to uphold. I can help make it better.

[ Raven is trying to be hopeful, for Charles' sake if no one else's, but it's not quite that easy.

Kara's Earth is lucky someone gives a damn about it. ]

It'd be kind of lousy to be a survivor of two dead planets. Plus, my cousin is still there, and my sister and her mom.
