It's a natural predator here. It's just following its biology and hunting. I don't particularly like being the target of said hunting, but so long as it's not an otherwise immediate threat to my life, I'm not going to kill it for doing what it's meant to do as a predator. I'm safe enough up here and given time I'm sure it'll leave off a lost cause.

Besides, I have some very fine company up here, so what's the hurry to leave?

In my experience you live longer if you don't let your enemies. Unless you can join them, but I don't think that option exists here right now.

[But, the look she gives him -- she won't attack if that's not what he wants. She may still be trigger happy from her time on the Citadel and in the Wastelands, but here in this forest it's reminding her so much of the Green Place she's willing to let some things pass.

I can't just call Andora "it" or "you" the whole time. Besides, she reminded me of the color of Andorians, so - Andora.

Several months now, so not to very long. I was made Captain of the Tourists just last month.

[She's seen all sorts of people and creatures now that she's been with the Fleet for a year, so the idea of an off-colored being doesn't throw her like it would have. She nods, taking a moment to stroke the slug in her own lap.]

Oh, a fellow Captain, then. We'll have to exchange notes on how to run a crew. [Run of course in the loosest manner of the word; Captaining a ship in this Fleet wasn't anything like running the War Rig.]
