[ does that sound like he's turning vacation into work? it does, a little bit. which works because he's not really on vacation - he has a job on this planet, in addition to all his projects that are not going to be put on hold, in addition to wanting to explore the planet and give kitty all the dates he couldn't on the ships and hanging out with his friends...he's actually working harder than usual, but the key difference is - he's sleeping at night. solid ground beneath his feet, a real bed he can comfortably share with kitty because it's built for two - they make a huge difference.

he's not on vacation, but his crippling fears and anxieties are on a couple hours long excursion. ]

[ he's not sure what it's in relation to but either way - he doesn't believe in jinxes. he does believe in asshole aliens controlling the implants in their heads and possibly watching their every move. ]

As soon as I finish my projector! Almost there. We're gonna movie night in style.

[ he's never really heard himself but playing back the video - he and cisco weren't half bad. he's impressed! ]

[ it was a lot of fun. it's too bad that going to see charles ended the day on a sour note for him, but while he was karaoking with them he had a blast! cisco's the friend he's been missing - someone who not only goes along with all with his nonsense, but also comes up with some of his own for winn to go along with. ]

Though, you know if that were the case, I think the movies would be different.

I think Elsa would be a lot less afraid of her power and a lot more ready to shut people up if they talked about it, you know?

Oh yeah no her parents were idiots - [ doing a troll voice ] hey your kid has major powers and fear is gonna make her lose control of them.

[ doing a dad voice ] So what you're saying is teach her to fear them and shut her in like she's a freak, cutting her off from any support system, even though we're still gonna slam her with the responsibilities of ruling, cuz when has a monarch ever needed support or composure? Got it.

Speaking from experience, it's much better when you're told to do something great with those major powers.

And it's not just about powers, anything that's extraordinary about you can be scary it's a problem widespread enough to be a good Disney message.
