[At long last, the fleet has arrived to a new planet. This means it's time for a mingle guys! Get in! ]

Perhaps your destiny is to bring out the best in others.

[He's... really not sure how he feels about that. On one hand? Trying to explain to Rogue why Leto is mysteriously never available will begin to look like avoidance after not too long a while. On the other, Leto can destroy him and Rogue with a few words--though of course then their own friendship would take an orthogonal course into revenge, and Leto is wise enough to know that as well.

Though he does wonder if Leto's death wish has much of an opinion on this matter. He huffs a laugh.]

Perhaps I shall tell her Leto is the name of my imaginary friend. [He can't, without violating the most important promise he's ever made. So he shall see how this plays out.]

I'm sure any imaginary character you devise would be richer in character and backstory.

[ It feels dangerously close to lying, something Leto has never enjoyed. Though he could do it easily enough. He sighs. ]

I will not tell her anything.

Somehow I doubt that. You know how I see you.

[Leto has made no promise of honesty to Rogue. The idea doesn't really bother him, in that regard. And he has still not yet crossed that line in a way he cannot mentally get around. There is nothing to hide, when viewed from that angle.]

Have you regrets, now?

No, Loki. At least none which are mine. I worry about you and her. Who else?

It is a curious thing for you to worry about. But I am... glad for your concern for her. I do ill at caring for others. [It either was never in his nature to begin with, or he's lost the knack of it somewhere along the way.]

[ He shakes his head. He knows that and he's not bothered by that knowledge. But Leto is always conscious of time and the narrowing paths. ]

Time hides nothing from me.
