Who: Felix Harrowgate
Broadcast:
Action: Pathstone
When: Monday 6/27
Pathstone - Crowley's quarters (& elsewhere?)
[Felix opens his eyes and finds himself staring up at dark metal walls. While the transition is somewhat jarring, there's not the same kind of panic as the first time he'd gone home in his sleep and woke up here. The difference this time is in emotion. The previous times he's been on the heels of pain, fear, and anxiety. Lingering questions about what would happen to him and his brother next. There is certainly apprehension, but the questions don't carry the same mortal weight as they had in the past. His future was no more certain than any person's, to be sure, but this time there felt like a reasonable chance that he could, in fact, have a chance.
Slowly, he sits up in bed, wincing at the ache in his muscles. He isn't sure how long he's been sleeping this time, but he gets the sense - beyond the physical - that it's been awhile. Worry about that fact fizzles in the wake of his next thought: This isn't his room. It's Crowley's. There's a wave of relief that he still remembers the name and that there's still recognizable signs of the demon habitation. Enough to make his heart jump just a little in the very opposite of fear.
He takes his time collecting himself, waiting to see if Crowley will be coming back to his room any time soon. Measuring time is impossible and irrelevant. Regardless of whether or not the demon returns, he will eventually leave the room. First order of business was a shower, which was particularly needed after two weeks of being bedridden, but after that a trip to the kitchen would be in order.]
Video - Fleetwide
[The Felix that appears on screen is his usual presentable self, albeit with a little damp still clinging to his curly red hair. He smiles softly, nervous at admitting what might be considered a weakness]
I appears I've been gone for some time. Hopefully the library hasn't fallen into complete disarray while I've been asleep. Or anything else, for that matter.
Where are we now?
Video - Starstruck only
What is the status of our illustrious crew? Anything I should know?
[Is is safe to come out now? Last he checked, half the crew was knee-deep in some kind of glitch that he had, at the time, no ability to deal with. Thus the reason the wizard had been living aboard for the Pathstone for the better part of two weeks before he had fallen unconscious yet again.]

How are you feeling, Felix?
text
And yourself?
[Because clearly something has happened]
text
But I'm glad of it. For you, I mean. It's a rare thing to feel like oneself, some days.

[ instead of simply...remembered things. it's a question peggy asks herself a little to often when she thinks on what she 'remembered' from home. ]

I suppose that I cannot be completely certain of anything, but that's a maze I'd prefer not to get lost in.

I'd rather not think I only imagined it.

Quarters eey
It's no small amount of relief that crosses the demon;s features when he finds Felix awake and looking relatively unharmed. He tries to hide the expression with one of his usual idle indifference, but doesn't quite manage it. ]
Sleeping beauty finally awakes.

There are other more tangible changes, as only Crowley would know. The spirit is gone without any trace, and along with it the binding on his magic. Their absence is freeing beyond his ability to describe.]
I imagine that would make you my prince.
no subject
He gives a soft scoff at the wizard's response. ]
I dunno. That would really depend on what I was prince of. Do I get a kingdom? Or am I just a prince of some arbitrary product like mattresses or cheese graters?
no subject
I think it would be something a bit more distinguished. Leather boots, perhaps? Tire irons? [Which is said very intentionally. He sets the comb down on his knee]
Or perhaps it's simply a very small kingdom of two.
no subject
[He'll move to sit beside Felix with a shit-eating grin. ]
I do so like leather boots after all.
no subject
[He runs his fingers of the tines of the comb and eyes the demon]
How long was I asleep this time?

Um. But of course, that leaves him even more awkward with Felix than usual. It's been that way for everyone he knows; just a series of Max being stubborn and embarrassed that they had seen that young, naive side of him from years and years passed. He at least will be a semi-decent teammate and recognize Felix's return from - whatever the hell happens to people around here.
He's still trying to figure out what the hell the Atroma are messing with, here.]
Everything's doing alright.
Nobody's died while you went.
no subject
But he's glad for the response]
Is that how far our standards have fallen? Nobody died? Goodness.
no subject
[But hey, he's glad to have something from you to respond to. A little. He's not about to admit he tolerates you, maybe even mildly likes you. Like, really mildly. Which is good on the Rockatansky scale.]
Any problems with you?
no subject
No. Despite the exhaustingly long nap I'm...good.
[He thinks. It's not as if he has much of a reference point and they are still where they are, but overall he's less troubled than he might have been in the past]
no subject
Hn, good. Don't need anymore weird glitches.
no subject
No, we certainly don't. That had to have been nearly everyone on the ship within the span of a month. It's someone else's turn...
