Good morrow, fellow prisoners. I have been embodied by my employer, Maester Crowley, to find more employees for the Malum. We offer competitive wages, liquor in which you can drink, and if you prefer to be paid in liquor ... I believe we can make an arrangement on that end. The hours are from noon until four in the morning, so an eight hour shift in which to fill those lonely hours staring out into space.

I am looking for applicants that will not steal, will throw out any rowdy customers and who can learn how to mix liquors with mixers to get other forms of alcoholic enjoyment.

[She laughed.] Maybe I'll sit back and watch for a while, then. Or just visit.

Well I shall be delighted with a visit, at the very least.

[and it's not long before Jennifer arrives at the bar, wearing casual clothes instead of her Atroma issue suit or her Atlantis uniform for once.]

[Tyrion flashes a crooked smile at her, before he poured her a glass of wine and pushed it across the counter.]

Indeed it has been. How has your healing been going?

[Jennifer accepted the wine glass, but didn't drink from it quite yet, smiling back.]

Very well, actually... the attack here on the Iskaulit lit a fire under me, so I've been working on setting up first aid stations. Just in case it happens again.

[tallasaking]

[He pressed his lips together, his mis-matched eyes flashing once.]

So how is that going?

I think we're doing pretty well so far. I wish it wasn't a necessity, but... nobody anticipated an attack like that, either. I'm afraid that someone may be beyond help next time.

[tallasaking]

You are not wrong there ... sad as I am to say it. [He sighed, deeply.] So, you are teaching all the basics in keeping someone alive?

[forsometimenow]

Yeah. And helping people treat themselves if they have more minor wounds, so they don't potentially get infected while waiting for a medic. We're so small in number, if a large-scale catastrophe were to happen, people would end up having to wait.

Well ... if I have the time, I would like a lesson or two. Simply to make myself more useful in an emergency.

I'd be glad to. I'd hope Atroma wouldn't stoop that low, but I've given up on putting faith in them doing much of anything right by us.

[tallasaking]

Oh ... I think your lack of faith is heartening. It means we've all learned from our mistakes.

[Jennifer grinned sheepishly.]

Sometimes I do need a kick in the butt, and this was a big one. But I'm not going to wait for something else to happen.

Good. I do not want to lose any other people because one of us didn't know what to do in case of Atroma stupidity or maliciousness.

[forsometimenow]

That's the idea. ... and it makes me hate Atroma even more for doing this to us. Making us feel like we can't even trust them not to kill us, if they thought the ratings would be right.

[tallasaking]

Now there's a thought. Keeping us alive to wander around as corpses. I truly wish I could say they would not do that, but I do not know.

I was convinced they wanted us healthy til that whole thing with Winter happened. Maybe after spending months in one location, the audience is getting antsy, and they're getting desperate.
