I have an important request. I need someone who can make cheese. Do cheese makers have an old timey name like cobblers and haberdashers or are those only for clothes? Anyway, calling all of those.

Cheese doesn't seem to be a thing here from what I can tell, but we're just one ingredient away from some really great pizza. I have no idea what cheese requires other than cows or goats or something. I grew up so close to Wisconsin, but I feel like I learned so little.

I would also accept alternative cheese. I know there were vegan kinds made out of hopes and dreams or something I assume. I can pay you or share the finished pizza or do something in trade if I had skills. I could beat someone up for you maybe. [She's not going to do that. Probably.] We'll work it out.

[ Kara's tried to give Kitty space but she's worried, and while she's been doing a little light stalking (what, you would too with telescopic and x-ray vision), it's time to buck up and talk to her friend. So she arrives at Kitty's construction job around lunchtime, bearing some healthy food as well as some carnival garbage treats. It's a spread. Variety is important and so is cotton candy

Her attitude is trying to balance between cheery and understanding of the gravity. she's trying to avoid coddling or pity altogether; no one needs that. ]

Kara? [She's surprised to see the girl arrive but she probably shouldn't be. After all, she knows what's been going on in as much as there is anything to know. It's been largely a game of going through the motions without really knowing which motions to even be going through. But she hasn't told that many people. Announcing her boyfriend is helpless somewhere isn't exactly a move she'd consider wise to make.]

Yeah, sure. I just have to get stuff done. Schedule's mine to determine.

Great, yeah, do your thing. I will try not to eat all of the lunch myself in the meantime.

[She puts her tools down and pulls off her gloves to leave them behind too.] Sure. Lead the way.

It's close. I can airwalk. [It's effective, just slower than flying usually. Not that she can't air run when she needs to but the concentration for that is more.]

And I was thinking, everyone needs to eat lunch, so I thought this would be a good way to get both of those things done.

Right. Very efficient. [She brushes back her hair and glances over at Kara.] Sorry I haven't been around much. [She doesn't want to inflict her company on others when she's like this.]

No? [Why was that a question.] I don't know. I guess I figured there was a lecture coming.

Do I seem like the lecture type? Well, okay, maybe sometimes, but I like to think of myself as more of the inspirational speaker type.
