[When the feed turns on, the fleet will immediately be greeted by the sight of a very excitable mabari puppy sniffing at the screen and trying to bite it. There's laughter behind him as his mistress pulls him back.]

Nice try, you little rascal.

[Riona plops him on her lap, keeping an arm securely around him. The ocean serves as the backdrop, the waves crashing against the shoreline. The sun is shining, but Riona's smile seems even brighter as she addresses the fleet.]

Everyone, meet Kiter. He's my mabari from home! Though he is much tinier than the last time I saw him... The tree must have made him little again. I can't fathom how or why, but I won't look a gift horse in the mouth.

[She presses a kiss to his head. He barks happily, though he keeps wiggling to try and get at the communicator.]

Maker, I missed you. Though you're a puppy again, you still knew me. [She looks back at the camera.] The tree has been kind to me. Kinder than Atroma, at any rate. I'm grateful to it and this world. But I digress. If anyone wants to meet Kiter here, we'll be by the sea. He always liked to chase the seabirds. And I will not pass up the salty air.

[That is where she will be, sitting on the beach and playing with her hound. The little guy will be running up and down the place, chasing birds and walking up to passersby. And be absolutely adorable, of course.]

[Kiter basks in the attention and pets, panting contentedly. He trots after Kara when she finishes and walks up to Riona.]

Pleased to meet you. I'm Riona, from the Blue Fish. [She takes her hand and gives it a good shake.

Meanwhile, the pupper sniffs at Kara's feet, his little butt wagging in lieu of a proper tail.]

He is my war hound from home. I believe that enormous tree in the forest somehow brought him here, though it brought him here as a puppy, rather than the grown dog he was back home.

[... All right a beautiful woman was sitting on a beach with a puppy. As if Tyrion Lannister wasn't at least going to waddle over to inspect said adorable looking mutt. He came strolling along the beach, his mis-matched eyes alight with interest and humor as he approached them both, the sun turning his blonde hair into pure golden curls.

He dropped down next to Riona, holding out his hand to Kiter.] You know, I have not seen you this happy in many weeks. You look as if you swallowed all this sunlight and now it is glowing out of you.

Did you wish for him, or did it just give you it?

Aside from that incident on the Iskaulit, things have been peaceful. But you say you're a fighter, too? What are your preferred weapons?

[Riona's mouth drops. No, surely he's not...]

Ser Anders, you can't possibly mean that you don't like dogs, do you?

[Kiter pops his head into view. He is judging you so hard right now.]
