[When Sokka turns on the feed he looks a mixture of annoyed and miserable. It's hard to tell, but if you squint, it seems annoyance is winning out. He is SO DONE right now. There is a strange looking bird perched on the back of his captain's chair, which seems disinterested in everything. He also appears to be eating some weird goop out of a bowl? Maybe it's ice cream?

(Spoilers: it's not ice cream)]

So for those of you keeping track, my world still seems the favourite for Most People Leaving In The Shortest Time Possible award. Both Zuko and Toph have gone. I even checked to see if Zuko was off emo-ing somewhere, but nope, he's gone.

[He waves his spoon at the screen and some of the greeny-goop drops from it with a wet splot. Sokka doesn't care, though. He's going into Rant Mode.]

As you can see, though, I'm still here! YEP. I don't go anywhere. I'm stuck here, forever. Nooooo going home for me. Nope. But hey, there's a girl from the future who's the reincarnation of my someday-dead friend, so wooooooooooo, I'm not completely alone. That's swell. Isn't that swell?

[That might be a bitter and slightly crazy laugh as he slouches back into his captain's chair, swinging it back and forth a little. Hawky screeches and flaps his wings a little, trying to regain some balance. Sokka reaches up to absently pat his little hawk head.]

Now all I need is Azula coming back and it'll be the best month ever.

Tell me about it. I mean, I've got a good head for mechanical things, but being an engineer on one of these was something else. It's not like we've got spaceships back home to gets used to beforehand.

So the airships are still a thing in the future? That's great to hear. Hopefully they're used less on the war side of things for you. But yeah, I can see the similarities between piloting one of those and the ships we have here.

...Not that I ever pilot the Blue Fish. That was Toph's job.

Yeah - these ships are kind of similar but still more intimidating. Then again Asami just makes it look effortless, I think.

Yeah! She and her father built a company together and she runs it by herself now. She just built an entire rail road system too connecting Republic City to some other parts of the Earth Kingdom.

[Then again Toph was an old woman and still beat her senseless. She is pretty amazing.]

[Is he proud? He sure sounds proud. YEAH SCIENCE. ]

Oh, the ship's system has like...an echo location thing, I guess? It meant she could fly it with her weird earth bending sight thing.

[He sounds pretty dismissive. He'll never understand bending. Not in a million years. ]

[Hang on she's still trying to imagine Toph flying a ship.]

I... guess that makes sense. About as much sense as everything else about this place.

Given one of the ships has a tiny horse flying it? Yeeeah. I find it's easier to just smile and nod. You'll feel less crazy that way.
